I've semi built one and was wondering. Yes I know each house has one addition thats unique to that location. But net net are the interiors pretty much identical ?
Thanks.

The general layout is always the same, but there might be a small minor change here and there, such as where certain things are placed. Like, I've noticed certain furniture placements are different in my cellar of Heljarchen Hall than it was in my Lakeview Manor cellar in my previous playthrough. But I kind of wish you could customize the general layout and appearance more to make each house you build feel more unique. Perhaps even change the colors of the walls and how dim or bright the lighting is inside the home. I would've loved it if I could make the lighting inside my home look similar to that of Castle Volkihar.
Like others have said, they're all the same.
Only difference is where you build em.
On the inside its the same, outside you get access to either a grain mill, fish hatchery, or beehive, depending on where you are.
I've found that if you have your steward decorate you homes for you the interiors tend to look a little different.
And depending on the additions you choose you can make each one different on the outside as well.
