Are all male characters going to be that buff?

Post » Fri Jun 25, 2010 4:55 pm

After looking at the screenshots of the PC I realized that each one had the same muscularity. I hope you can customize how buff your character is because I do not always want to be that buff for role playing reasons.

If you're talking about the picture that I think you're talking about, how do we know for sure that it's a Dunmer at all? It could easily be a Lich or something... But yeah, the magazine did mention something about full face and body customization, which presumably includes heigh/weight/tone modifiers.

Just because you can't see the attribute, doesn't mean they aren't there. Is every game supposed to use the same cumbersome and outdated method of telling how strong you are? Reserve your judgments until you get your hands on the game, or at the very least, have more info about the mechanics of the game.

It's like a huge [censored]-fest in these forums, I swear.

If there are no attributes then how do they factor in how much weight we can carry?

No, no, no! I don't care if it's realistic. I hate Fable-style body sculpting that happens as a result of your actions.

Let me design my character how I want him/her to look and have them stay that way. No transforming into a fugly, giant linebacker because I like to swing my sword around a lot.

Not entirely sure, but people who have the GI were saying that pretty much every part of you is customizable.

Wait, really? What page does it mention the sliders? I must have missed it. This game is really starting to look quite good.

idk, because I don't have it yet :sadvaultboy: but that's what I was reading on these forums was that you had nearly unlimited customization.
