Really, I wanted to play multiplayer today, but I get the same thing like most of yesterday, 1000 ping servers.

I get a lot of these but they're not being reported properly. If you join you'll find they're not 1000ms at all. I just set my filters to Europe and then pretty much any server will be playable.

Its only the server list.
If u join a server of your country for example 4.netplayers germany for me.
I got ping 15-20 there.

Most servers says 1000 ping, and yet I get 60-85 ping when I play on them. Server browser is seriously messed up right now.

Be happy that you can join these 1000ping servers. I always get a connection to host fail error.

program(crysis.exe) shows server's status response latency, but not the ingame-ping

When you see the 1000 server ping its not towards your ping to the server, its the average time elapsed from your request for a server list -> passed through the Gamespy Server browser -> Passed through the EA server list -> to the server in question. By the time it relays between so many points it seems like 1000 Ping. To get a accurate ping on the server lists click the ping tab on the server browser ONCE and it should relatively give you a list of servers from smallest to largest ping regardless oft he 1000 ping recording.
