Are any other TES fans worried about Fallout's influence?

Honestly, I've been on these forums for the majority of the day and the amount of "Should they put V.A.T.S. in Skyrim?" "Should they put perks in Skyrim?" threads have me unsettled.

Is anyone else worried that Fallout may influence this game too much?

BTW
For fans of Fallout: It's been five years since we've had an Elder Scrolls game, you guys just got New Vegas, could you let us have our game, pleeeeeeeease? :ermm:

We Fallout fans had to wait 12 years for Fallout 3. Most of us that have been waiting only got disapointed.

I want 0 fallout influence in this game. If I did, I would just play fallout.

The only worry I may have is the quest log. I despised FO:3 and FO:NV's quest log. I hope for a book to open my journal like Morrowinds (after patch for order). Oblivions and FO:3 which seemed like an even further refined quest log just doesn't quite meet my desires and it's nowhere as interesting to read through as the one in Morrowind. So...the super refined quest log in Fallout is something I worry about it having.

As for quest building, I do hope Skyrim includes more choices and consequences as the Fallout games did.

And I'm not worried about the rest. I thought about it briefly but the TES world is so different than the Fallout world it won't change much. The characters and alien environment in a different world entirely will take their imaginations in a different direction. They know it has to fit the TES world.

Glad I don't fit that. I am a FO fan from 1 and 2. And I was not disappointed. Put in over 300 hours in FO3. Where do you get your "most of us" numbers?

Just saying, assuming "most" people feel the way you do isn't necessarily the correct way to go.

I really love Fo3 and F:NV, but VATS, SPECIAL, karma, and the like are made special for Fallout and should never be implemented into something that could easily be said to be the exact opposite of Fallout...
Now there are some things I think should be implemented that were not made specifically for Fallout though... such as hit boxes, more interaction, NPCs being more dynamic, and more choices on how to do something...
