Are any of you guy's worried you'll finish skyrim within the

I know that Skyrim is HUGE, and that it has 20+ hours of main story playing time and apparently over 300 hours of side quests, exploring etc..... But I worried that Skyrim will be so hard to put down because it is so good that I or many of you will finish it within the first week or two? (I am talking about the first play through of Skyrim)

I know that you can start another save as a mage, thief etc.. But I would at least want the first playthrough to take a bit longer than two weeks.

What do you guy's think??

Since I will wait with the main quest 'til after I've played 50-100 hours of sidequest and exploring, I don't think it will be possible to finish first playthrough within a week.

I imagine it will take at least 1-2 months to finish the first playthrough.

To compare other games with a similar engine, Oblivion, Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas - each playthrough tends to last at least a few hundred hours, which takes me around 6 months to 1 year to complete.

I still haven't taken my characters to Shivering Isles yet in Oblivion. I will not have finished Skyrim yet when TES VI comes out, in 2016.

I've been playing Oblivion for a few years and still have not completed Shivering Isles, KOTN, Fighter's Guild, Thieves' Guild or Mage's Guild questlines. I haven't really progressed very far in the main quest, either, hoping to finish it some time next month before starting Skyrim.

You don't finish Skyrim, Skyrim finishes you.

I've never seen the "In Communist Russia..." joke done better. Completely true.

I doubt another game will enter my Xbox between 11.11.11 and the release of Mass Effect 3. MAYBE Halo:Reach or FIFA 12 for multiplayer. But unlikely.

I really doubt anyone could play for 300 hours almost flat out, even getting a few hours of sleep a day. But don't worry, you won't complete it in a week. Lol

A thing i use to do to not get bored and finished to quickly is to actually take unnecessary long breaks from playing. For like, a day.
