Story is great, most bugs have been patched, i felt way more connected to NV then FO3's pathetic daddy story, they are realeasing all dlc at once on all consoles, and the dlc will most likely be bigger than all of FO3's, and yes your the only one selling your copy.

1. That games glitchy freezes on me all thetime my disk is clean as can be.
2. The story is horrible
3. Theres no depth you dont feel as emotionally connected as FO3.
4. Theres been one dlc in 6 months of it being out and they wont throw us a bone or give us any info.
5. Am i the only one selling my copy?

1. Sorry to hear that, maybe it's your console/computer? Or maybe there is a problem with the disc itself (apart from clear scratches)
2. In your opinion.
3. FO3 had depth? FO3 had emotional connection? To what? Dad? Sarah? That mutt? I felt no emotional connection to anyone.
4. Valve is still worse, and it's been 3 and a half months since the last DLC, not 6.
5. Yes. :disguise:

1. That's what you get for buying it on a console.
2. No, just no.
3. ^^
4. True, the dlc needs to come faster.
5. Yes, you are.

"They are releasing all DLC at once on all consoles" -There's no proof for this statement. They had mentioned they'd be releasing the DLC in the following months not all at once, but yes on all consoles at the same time.
"It's been 3 and a half months since the last DLC" - He had stated since the game came out, not since the last DLC

As to the OP, well the story was great, mine freezes once and a while but it's to be expected with a game its size on a console(Not sure what your playing on), i'll admit FO3 had a better story emotionally atleast but the story was still great, yeah they need to release some info on the DLC, and yeah... you're probably the only one selling their copy.. I know i'll be playing for some time to come.

Wikia entry:
"In Issue 216 of Game Informer, it was confirmed that Bethesda applied for the trademarks of the phrases Honest Hearts, Lonesome Road, and Old World Blues. All three add-ons will be available simultaneously for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360."

Since game came out? Then it's 5 and a half months. :teehee:

Clearly the game is not for you. So sell it and move on.

By the way: Obsidian (or any game company) is under no obligation to "throw us a bone" so... deal with it?

Sorry I had to check something, I have issue 216 and it doesn't even have Fallout New Vegas in it. I also just looked online to check. Wikipedia is sometimes unreliable. However the home page for Fallout.Bethesda(not these forums pages) say, "In addition to Dead Money, we will be releasing three additional add-on packs in the coming months. These packs will launch simultaneously on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.", Also bethblog.com states the same thing. I believe Game Informer 214 said something on the topic as well. But my statement remains firm. It does not say all DLC will be released at once, but merely that they will be released for ALL CONSOLES at once. I guess it could be interpereted differently though.

I sold mine. [censored] this game. Sorry, but if the software can't be handled on a console then it shouldn't be sold to the public. I put 130 Canadian into a pathetic excuse of QA and testing. Gee, thanks, Bethesda. Yes, I hold Bethesda responsible. It was their higher ups who put us throughout this crap.

And for those thinking there's "a handful of people with problems" you should take a gander at the PS3 Hard & Software issues.

Bethesda does the testing you know, they are responsible for the most, it is sad that that they put more effort in their own games and no in the ones who they dont develop

Well that svcks.

I enjoyed and still am enjoying my copy. The console version does freeze and its annoying but try to clear the har-drive out and that might help and try not to play for a few hours at a time.

Story is great, IMO of course(and a "few" others), much better than FO3.

Some small things annoy me but no game is perfect.

Blame both Bethesda and Obsidian. The game is unstable and they really didn't put any effort in cleaning up the bugs. People say its the game engine; its not. I've played Bully (Gamebyro/PS2) by Rockstar games & it didn't contain any game breaking bugs. They were very minor and I can't remember a single one. Fallout 3 was worth the $60 because it was a brand new game. New Vegas isn't; it doesn't absorb as much as time FO3 does.

Wow you summerized my opinion of fallout three.

The only thing wonky about FONV story is the part where you get shot in the head and your first instinct is follow the guy who did it. Unless you are playing the out for blood vengence go through.

Fallout three I felt I was on rails the entire playthrough, I couldn't choose who to help or who to kill, I couldn't join the enclave I couldn't get my own vetibird I was just stuck looking for Daddy then saving the day, or killing everyone for the sake of stupid evil.

Bugs? Thats a Berthseda game for you. You get an open world to explore at the cost of alot of game crashes.

The DLC I am a bit annoyed by, I would like more but I did like dead money, and the ghost people were the first enemy I ever recall creeping me out in Fallout so cheers for that. I wonder if its getting halted because of Skyrim? Which is fine I suppose, I can't wait for that.

Wht blame obsidian for this? I thought Bethesda tested it for bugs and bethseda gave them a deadline maybe they just finished not long before the deadline

Yeah, we re nor blaming Bethesda for hate sake, its because they re the announcer and the testers

They gave Obsidian a short deadline, and the ones who not fixed most of the bugs and glitches

svcks that there seems to be a problem with people that play using PS3. Maybe you should look in the PS3 section to see if there is a fix to the problems you are having. Bethesda's job is to fix the issues after all its their engine.

As for which has a better story. Do we really need to get into that for the 1,000,000th time?

The suggestion to check the PS3 section is a good one, make sure your game patched, etc. I am going to close this thread, because it's partly just a rant instead of asking for help, and I can see console bashing snarkiness creeping in.
