Are Crytek going to fix Single Player. It's broken.. : Crysis

Since the latest patch the mission Red Star Rising will not load a save after a restart. Many people are having the problem but nothing official has been announced about a fix.
I was loving the game and would really like to finish it.
What are my options? Do I uninstall the game and reinstall without the latest patch or wait a while longer for a futher patch?
