But if dragons are not rare as we have been led to believe then won't these fights get somewhat tiresome?
It was bad enough having to get off one's horse to whack a wolf in Oblivion. If the game thrusts a dragon fight upon us every fifteen minutes (if I remember correctly the Scandinavian journalist said that they encountered about four dragons in an hour) and uses music, difficulty and the aesthetics of the dragon to try to make it seem epic, are we not just going to become numbed to what should be amazing boss fights? Are they simply going to become irritating waiting periods for the dragon to come within range so that you can slay it without much thought and move on, only to be stopped by another one around the corner? Sort of like our best friends from Morrowind?
I have faith in BGS, but I'm worried about a disastrous mash up between Oblivion gates and cliff racers manifesting as plentiful dragons.
