Personally im pretty disappointent the game looks decent not amazing. Its funny that many people are saying the game looks awesome while comparing it with consoleports like black ops and bc2 wich dont really look good cause theyre made for some 5 year old hardware(look at battlefield 3 those are amazing graphics). Crytek optimized the cryengine and they did a good job with that but im an enthusiast when it comes to graphics thats why i was extremely hyped after cry-adam posted that the e3 3d trailer was realtime pc footage:

I'm not that disappointed, but I'm not that impressed either. The overuse of blur really dampens the overall product, and I couldn't help but think that the saturation was a bit poor.

They wouldn't be if this game looked the same and had Dx11 support or if it was PC exclusive.

Majority are not disappointed in the graphics. They are disappointed it's not DX11. If it was, there would be better graphics.

Ok i agree that after 3 years of work the update autodownloader is still not working (for god sake make this work)

But the game is insane! I love the Multiplayer and all the special things you can do. like climbing ledges run and slide, an advanced cover system. What the hell are you whining about!

this game is by far 100 times better then Call of duty, with their static levels and their poor gameplay. with over 70.000 players every day online. these people do not know what they miss with not playing crysis 2.

I say keep the patches comming, keep the game worth playing, and PLEASE keep cheaters out of the game... this is what ruined the multiplayer in crysis wars.

It's roughly equal to majority of FPS games currently on market, in some matters better, in some worse, but nothing exceptional. It's very good, but doesn't represent any progress.

It's very good graphically but there seems to have been a lack of polish for the PC versions.

Simple stuff like POM texture mapping, real AA and DX10 smoke. Crysis had these features so it seems a bit of a step backwards for a sequel four years later to not have them. I have disabled MSAA and it looks much crisper IMO.

I am not bothered so much about the graphics, but the whole gameplay and control scheme. I especially hate how you don't really get to control your suit functions as much as the first Crysis. Strength and Speed mode is now combined to 'Power'? Armor makes you heavy and slow? What if I want to sprint without using Speed Mode? The Speed Mode sprint is so freaking slow you can't even evade gunfire anymore... Nanosuit 2.0 my ass. More like Nanosuit -2.0

Edit: Oh and the Nanosuit 1 looked so much better, Nanosuit 2.0 looks like an ugly fat-suit with beef jerky strapped all over it..

The difference between "yes" and "no" is far from being significant. Let's see when the survey end... Does "It's ok" mean people are satisfied? Because if the question is " are you disapointed?", "it's ok" means "quiet no"

It's ok is no imo so it's about 90 poeple say it svcks and 59 like it. 7 dont know.
Personally I'm waiting for the patch of dx 11 with advanced grpahic options before i post but so far the graphics are a dissapointment. dx 9 looks good but they shouldn't have consolized the game at launch.

I mean- I thought they use their great engine for a game with better graphics then Crysis (1) but Crysis 2 looks not always better then Crysis 1!
I hoped they make a game which requires a much better graphics card then the GTX 580/ GTX 590!
But they made a game for consoles! my GTX 480 eats this for breakfest!

I REALLY hope that the dx11 patch change everything but im not sure...

I would say "ok" when the give modders the chance to do it better but "WTF"? ..-NO EDITOR?

Next thing is: I bought the game so i have a license to have the game and i was thinking about downloading the beta leak to get the editor! So i tell all my friends: "dont buy the official crysis2! its without editor! download the leak and you have same graphics and the editor!!"

CRYTEK! YOU HAVE TO DO SOMETHING FOR HIGH END PC GAMERS!
Its really frustrating to see what you did with that great Engine! :/

This is what pisses me off. I don't care what the box says I care what is delivered. The textures svck ass in Crysis 2 and not just some of them. even 1900x1200 they look like PS2 textures. I'm running PCSX2 emulator actually, and upscaling resolution to 1080p and some of the actual PS2 games textures DO look better than Cry2(God of War, Shadow of Colossus, RE4). Pathetic.

No i have to say that i am ok with the graphics .... just need to have more settings to chose thats all ... oh yes and to get DX10-11 support

the game looks great but i cant really compare it to Cry1 because the setting is so different that some graphics are purposely different
