By "Annexing" territory they were also helping. They were teaching people how to farm better, how to irrigate crops. They provided protection and medical care. They were helping people. All they asked for were recruits.

Why is it when a faction takes land without fighting and helps people. They are seen as "bad" :rolleyes:

The Original BoS kept the good tech away from people by force if need be and helped no one. Years (decades) later even after other factions still managed to gain power and develope and get hands on pre-war tech, the BoS continued to attack other factions in the name of taking tech away. In the end it pissed NCR off and they went to war. Like Veronica said, all the BoS do is make enemies of everyone. Does that sound like a Faction that want to help people to you?

They couldn't just walk around the mall anyways, supermutants on both sides, mostly one, and slavers on one side. They couldn't walk around in peace.

No other ghoul ever mentions it, she may not be lying, but she could be stretching the truth. Or not telling you something,

If the brotherhood does shoot ghouls, it is probally a personel choice not an order. The order would probally be kill any hostiles, and the soldier would decide if the one shoul is hostile or not. He isn't a white knight he is king arthur Anyways Lyons is a loser. He has made bad decisions. The best thing he did was decide to help the people. Then he failed at that, until you arrive.

So no I don't care if he gets blood on his good image, it is just a pretty weak excuse, he had the people shoot ghouls. There is no evidence that he orders this, or if it is choice. Or if the lady is stretching the truth or leaving something out.

LOL Damn right........ People lie about all sorts of things for all sorts of reasons. For all we know she is MLA, and has had a hatred for all brotherhood for almost 100 years.

The ghouls were in Underworld before the bos even got there. The vender lady will tell you they started going there shortly after the bombs hit.

I don't get why people think she'd lie about something like that, Lyons (or whoever tells them specific mission details while they're going into downtown DC) probably told them to kill all mutants and hostiles, ghouls, feral ghouls, sueprmutants, slavers, raiders, etc. It's not unbelievable that they'd kill ghouls.

EDIT-And I think one of the two ghouls in Old Oney in BS said they were trying to establish another settlement away from slavers, raiders, and the BoS so that's further evidense.

She is talking about Underworld. I think if they just wonder on out to the capital building they will be shot.



Again if the order is to kill hostiles, it is personel choice or squad choice, whichever to decide what is hostile. I doubt Lyon's just tells the soldier, if you see any of those ghouls, be sure to kill them.

I don t think BOS was in that talk, but its been a long time, and I could be wrong.

She was talking about the Mall. She was alot closer to Super Mutants, then she was to the closet Brotherhood. Super Mutants don't see them as a threat and they are smart enough to know Ghouls can't become super mutants. They leave them alone. They are in Underworld because of the BoS.

There is no reason for her to lie about such a thing.

The Brotherhood from before they became the brotherhoodhood have a hartred dislike for mutations. After what Roger Maxson and the others experienced at Mariposa. Lyons may want to help people but I am sure he and the others under his control were ingrained with that same dislike of mutants. Even the Midwestern BoS have their ghoul haters and dpending on the ending the BoS start a genocide against them.

In fact Lyons orders all of the mutations of the Pitt killed and only takes those kids not mutated.

There are no ghouls within Lyons Brotherhood. No talk about them not shooting ghouls. Yet we have a ghoul saying they do and gives the reason why the Ghouls are in Underworld. They can't get around DC with the BoS around. She has Zero reason to lie. ZERO. The only reaosn why people would call her a lier is because they don't want their White Knight to have a darkside I guess.

The Washington Monument is about 20 steps away from the museum, and the brotherhood controls it, but super mutants may wander. There are also 3/4 paladins at the monument they don't even look at underworld, they could just walk out, example - the aqua cura guy. His set-up is a little out of the way meaning he goes to and from.

I don't doubt that some of them shoot ghouls, but you are coming off as either Lyon's orders are shoot super-mutants and any ghouls. Or all brotherhood members hate ghouls. Since there are wastelanders coming in too, there is more of a chance that shooting them is by choice.

I don't think the 4 paladins outside of underworld shooting at them qualifies as the whole brotherhood. Even if they shoot at them inside the ruins, it isn't all the brotherhood.

I already mentioned how Lyons was a poor leader, so no need for that again.

Fair enough. Some DC BoS may not shoot ghouls on sight but I am sure it is still common practice within Lyon's BoS.

DC BoS don't go out of their way to kill ghouls and the Super mutants are their main focus but I am sure if they got bored and wanted some fun they would snipe at the Underworld Ghouls. Again, the super mutants are the main focus.

Nope. The mutants aren't hostile to her or the ghouls at all. Try it, lure a supermutant over to her. They don't fight. She mentions specifically that the mutants don't give her or the ghouls trouble at all.



Many of the ghouls in underworld mention it. The one that comes to mind specifically is the ghoul who greets you (Winthrop is his name I think). He specifically says that underworld was created to hide ghouls from bigots, and mention that the Brotherhood shoots ghouls on sight.

They aren't lying. They have no reason to.

I still say it was Lyons' call, he wants all extreme mutations wiped away from the CW because he views them all as threats to the good people of the CW and so he orders ghouls to be shot on sight.

I had a feeling there were other Underworld Ghouls that talk about the BoS, shooting at them. :celebration:

Well, if they do the mid west bos it either that, or they destroyed the calculator. I doubt they would take the players brain as canon.

It just depends on what the Gen. said. They would probably wanted to keep him alive in some way. I d have to hear what it said to make the player choose to really have a good guess of which of the two would be canon. What does the calculator say, and what does Barneky
