Are Quicksaves Still Unreliable?

Post » Mon Nov 30, 2015 2:04 am

I checked the size of my quicksave compared to my normal saves and its 2 MB larger than the others. Bethesda games have a history of problems with quicksaves, is it the same with this game as well?

Bethesda games have problems with saves in general, not just quicksaves. 140 hours in and I've yet to encounter a save related problem tho

Edit: and I'm a chronic F5'er

Quicksaving with a controller has never been easier too. You literally press start and then hit A since it's the first item on the Menu list.

I rely almost exclusively on Quicksaving. Should anything happen to it, I'll probably just start a new game.

I do not trust the quicksaves. I do use them here and there but I have a system for keeping manual save files: a base save file, a world map save file and a dungeon save file. I keep two of each of these and toggle between each so that I always have several hours of backups just in case it goes FUBAR.

I don't trust them, but that said I haven't had any problems either. I just have my way and I'm sticking to it after so many Bethesda games.
