I setup a supply line between two colonies, but it only appears to be linking junk and settlement building material, not weapons or armor. Is this how its suppose to work or am I doing something wrong?

That is what every other thread on the subject has said so yes, it will treat components as universal but any unscrapped items are not.

Yes...as far as im aware junk itself does not transfer...just what the junk could auto scrap into. Example, you put a specific piece of junk in your sanctuary work bench...that specific piece of junk will not be in your red rocket workbench BUT what the specific piece of junk will auto scrap into will be accessible. Hope that made sense.
