Are Talos amulets quest related? : V

Not sure what's up. I can't drop them because I guess they're quest related. Anybody know?

Yeah it says I am unable to drop quest items, and I have 5 of these amulets, so it's 5 pounds.

That is because the guy in solitude was wearing an amulet of Talos which is quest related, there is a little girl in Solitude that will ask you for help with convincing her mother to go back to church, she needs the dead guys amulet of Talos in order to convince her to go back.

If you loot the amulet from Roggvir's corpse after his execution in Solitude it will become listed as a quest item and you will not be able to remove it from your inventory. It is unknown if there is any actual quest related to this particular item or if this is a glitch.

Have you killed your first dragon?

Because if I remember correctly, the first amulet that you'd get would have been a reward for getting the Golden Claw back. And maybe your position in that questline is what's preventing you from dropping it? Might also want to post this in the bugs forum for your platform.

Edit: Or the Solitude thing. That sounds more likely.

To me it happened when I stole some guys amulet of talos to blackmail him into helping the stormcloaks (in Markarth I believe), havent been able to drop even one of the stack I've collected since

The odd thing for me is that the lady in Solitude, I already "gave" her the amulet in dialogue, but it wasn't removed from my inventory. I can drop it, but her quest still shows up as needing to be completed in my journal, and talking to her now just yields the generic NPC responses instead of engaging the dialogue screen.

I recall that I looted the amulet from Roggvir's corpse before I even talked to her.

I have quite a few quests I have completed that aren't marked as completed.
May I suggest talking to the little girl that runs around though, I don't know if she's the one you have to see to finish this quest.
