Some people really are ungrateful little bastards that have no idea how difficult it is to create open-world games that look as good as Skyrim currently does, Oblivion looking like it did for its time was a bloody miracle. With so much going on there's far less space to focus on the graphical side of things when everything else is far more important to the experience, sure they could make the game look like Crysis I bet they could but Skyrim would end up being the size of a toe-nail because of it, there'll be two weapons to choose from and three quests in the entire game. Shooters and RPGs are very different games and need to be handled in completely different ways, so you would you worthless little runts get off your high horses and stop [censored]ing about the game's CGI. You're entitled to your opinion just make sure it's not a stupid one. >_>
Fact of the matter is, Skyrim is not your precious super-realistic gritty fragfest that most morons seem to be covetting and it never will be, thankfully the Elder Scrolls series doesn't opt for the brown and grey palette most games seem to have these days and looks lavish and life-filled as a result. Bethesda have [censored] up on a lot of things, there's no disputing that, but for everything they do wrong they do something right, this is one of those times that they've gotten it right and I for one think they've done a spectacular job. I don't know what screenshots some of this forum's blind idiots have been looking at, but by christ if there's one thing that can't be disputed it's that Skyrim looks gorgeous. I'm impressed it actually looks this good at all with how much is apparently going to be occuring in the game, I honestly didn't expect such a thing.
Maybe it could look better, who knows? There's ten months till the game finally releases for them to polish things off for those of you that have apparently had your retinas detached. I'd be more than happy to play Skyrim with how it looks right now, it's a step up from Fallout and a jump from Oblivion and looks absolutely fantastic, kudos to Bethesda for renewing some of my faith in you but you've still got a long way to go.
And if you know me, you'll know I'm not the sort of person that usually compliments Bethesda, I assure you of that. -_-
