Are the Kamal ever described?

By this I mean, is there any text that hints at the appearance of a Kamal Snow Demon?

The Tang Mo and Tiger dudes I can guess at, and 2920 gives me a pretty good idea of what a Tsaesci looks like.

But I'm at a loss about the Kamal. I've got two headcanon theories that are based on my imagination, not evidence, although they seem reasonable to me.
A. Like the other Akaviri races, they're beast-folk. Probably large and covered in white fur. I'd imagine this to look like a yeti or a wampa from Star Wars. I've got literally no reasoning behind this, just how I first pictured them.

B. They're actually magical beings, thus the title Snow Demon. They might be some sort of being made of ice or snow running on magicka. Maybe, if this is the case, they're actually some sub-type of Frost Atronach that for whatever reason have taken to living on Nirn. But that's WAY out there.

Is there any physical description of a Kamal in the lore?

Someone once speculated that the Frost Giant Kaarstag (and I suppose those Frost Giants from Dawnguard too) was a Kamal and a holdover from their original invasion.

But considering a few survivors once tried to take over the Imperial City, I think they're probably smaller than that.

Also, I can't get the image of "wampa" out of my head.

But no...they're never actually described.
