Are the (new)stunning areas in Dawnguard a bit overlooked?

I think the new areas and locations in Dawnguard are some of the best in TES history. Particularly Blackreach, Soul Cairn and the enormous area explored in the last part of the MQ in DG. The long trek from the caves through the hidden valleys was spectacular.
The only problem is that the last part took so long that I experienced a severe fatigue and at the end just wanted to be done with it. It is a shame, because I didn't get to appreciate it as much as I could have. I actually dont think that area can be traversed in under two hours, and there's too much hassle to get back to "skyrim" for a breather in the middle of it. This makes it more tiresome than necessary. It also comes to mind that I haven't been back there later on because of the hassle

What's your views on this?

Edit: Sorry Blackreach is of course in the original game

The vale was pretty. Arvak definitely helped through that part.

The Vale! Wow it was so huge... yes, fatigue.
Almost impossible to find everything yourself.
Even with the Wiki it was a big challenge, for me... LoL

But I have all those Stones and could go back any time I guess.
(Maybe Dawnguard is under-rated because Dragonborn is getting all the attention.)
Hey I still have the guy's Ancient Falmer Armor, which is gorgeous - really beautiful.
Probably the finest armor in the vanilla game.

Blackreach was in the vanilla game, but the forgotten vale and the soul cairn were pretty awesome.
