For the first time in my FNV history I'm on a consistent, to-be-finished Energy weapons playthrough, and I'm wondering about something. I usually ALWAYS help Cass one way or another, but now I'm wondering if I should keep them around, them being the only "specialized" Energy vendor and all. However, Bardon sells lots of ammo, Torres and Great Khan Armorer occasionally sell Energy weapons (albeit not very reliably, and Torres' inventory doesn't respawn for me).

If anyone here has experience with Energy weapon playthroughs- just how important are VGs as suppliers?
