Are there any mods that increase encounters at night (higher

I love Fallout, I also love STALKER. I love FO3 most :)

I have my game to an almost perfect modded state of a harsh, bleak wasteland (thank you Arwen and many others) but was hoping to find the above 2 mods: one for increased night spawns and one that would emulate the emissions of STALKER. An emission is basically a huge radioactive energy cloud that builds up slowly and then releases itself in a huge burst causing massive damage.

While I'm at it, if any modders love STALKER - seeing a mod that would add anomalies and scanners etc. would also be amazing.

The GSC team is remarkably open to sharing their models/textures etc. and from what I've read on their boards are very open if asked politely.

Just thought I'd ask since I've searched TESNexus and google and am coming up bust so far.

MMM has an increased spawn option that doubles the ammount of enemies, and the enhanced weather rain mod has radioactive rain.

I don't think it's possible to set a timer on spawns unless you use a quest with a script to disable certain spawns during the day and enable them again at night. Only problem with that is too many mods with quest solely for the purpose of a background script can lag you game. Emissions? Like the energy release from CNPP? heck that would be cool but another toughie to do.

MMM also has things called night ghouls, add 5x feral ghould rampage, Fellout for darker nights and the radioactive rain mod, and traveling at night becomes a [censored] stupid idea :cold:

Thats my set-up. Nothing makes you need a change of underwear more than 20+ night ghouls attacking you out of nowhere, especially at level 2 hahaha

MMM + increased spawns + Feral Ghoul Rampage + Fellout + Radio active rain...at night? Last time i did that, i Wound up with over 90 Night ghoul eyes, and lord only knows why, tons of ghoul flesh. It certainly makes for an intersting night in the wasteland.

I too can personally attest to the suicidal nature of traveling at night with this setup. I also use a mod that makes time speed up or slow down depending on location and activity. I find myself keeping a very close eye on the time, and as night nears, I look for someplace, anyplace, for shelter. Even the Dunwich Building looks like a safe haven.

Stevedog - if you are the one who made Savage Wasteland - I love it! The idea of combining the percentage with luck stat for hand placed items is wonderful.

I have Arwen's Less is More, Xodarap's ammo and med frequency high rarity (for containers) and yours for hand placed loot.

I have the radioactive rain - which also has darker nights (I have brightness set to 1 which makes the whole world more contrasted) and I have Wasteland Moods Cycle as well.

I don't want the increased spawns in MMM b/c I don't like the wastes to be too busy in the day....

Combined with the needs mod I have (hunger, drink, sleep) .... and classic Fallout Weight, plus weighted ammo and no fast travel - the game is wonderful! In fact, I feel like I'm playing a whole new game!

All of you who can mod are wonderful! Thank you for sharing your gifts with us!

Yup, that's me! Glad you like it!

It's possible to add a script condition so that the script only fires at certain times of the day, this is how Night Gouls come out only at night and also IIRC how shops lock thier doors at closing time. So in theory it would be possible to either add more nocturnal animals or add a condition to the increased spawns script so the increase only happens at night.
