The last of my finals are tomorrow, so I decided to occupy myself with Arena and Daggerfall. But the thing is I absolutely svck with dosbox and can never get the games to work. Is there any premodded downloads of the games that would work on windows 7? Obviously they have to be safe downloads. Somebody did a give a link to a premodded version of Daggerfall a long time ago, but I can't find it. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could link me to premodded downloads so I don't have to spend any time with dosbox.

I'm quite new to DOSBox myself, so I'm confused about what you mean by "get games to work."

Do you simply mean getting Arena/Daggerfall up and running?
If so, I don't know of any download that would get it running automatically. However, I found a great YouTube video for doing it yourself. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_8aB7WhTAv0&feature=related)

You will also need to make a change in the Options file under your DOSbox folder.

To do this, open Options via: DOSBox-.074 -> Options -> DOSBox .074 Options

That will open up the Configuration setup. You'll have to make a change here. It's very simple though, so don't worry.

Under [dosbox], change memsize=16 to memsize=32. (Or change to 64 if you find it's still laggy)

UESP has a fully set up installation of Daggerfall called "http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Daggerfall:Files".
It's preconfigured, you just run the dosbox .exe in the folder and it automatically starts.
