Are there certain clipping issues with armor or weapons that

Post » Fri Mar 15, 2013 10:08 am

For me, not really. Though I prefer not to use ebony armor for females because one of the shoulders go through the shoulderguards.

The Nordic greatsword also slightly clips with the fur from the Nordic Carved Armor, but I don't care about this. I just pretend that a part of the greatsword is hidden under the fur, seems fairly realistic to me.

Anyway, most clipping issues don't bother me, unless it is painfully obvious. Such as hair clipping trough the helm of Yngol.

I don't care. Sure, it's annoying, but I play mainly in first person anyway. The odd occasion where I find myself in third person I just overlook any clipping.

I play in third person, even in combat. But since most armor clipping issues are very minor, I don't care too much either.

I play in first person, but clipping on female glass armor keeps me away from it. Because it clips into the view.

I used to despise Ebony armor because of the clipping effect it has on males. Then i downloaded a mod.

Some annoy me, some I can live with.

I can live with that the mod I use for closer quivers makes the quivers clip through some armors, because it annoyed me more when the quivers were floating in the air behind the back.
I can live with how the edge of the mage hood or some gloves and bracers clip through certain robes and armor.

OTOH, I stopped using the shrouded hood on my Dunmer when I realized that her left ear clipped through the fabric. And I can't use the Boots of the Old Gods (well, any Forsworn boots, I suppose), since they turn toeless when you put them on.

The neck clips if you put Ebony armor on a male.
