I lockpicked the armor out of the Van Graff body guard's lock box, prior to serving as a guard, and now can't get rid of it. I haven't seen this as a question and was hoping there was news on any fixes that might be in the new patch to untag items in the inventory as quest related, once the quest is resolved.

It would be nice. I was doing the quest in Camp Searchlight where you have to rush in and find a bunch of quest items for the NCR, but after the end when [censored] hit the fan, I killed them all and went to loot the body. I picked up all the NCR gear that was tagged as such. Turns out they were quest items with weight!!!! I can't [censored] drop them!!!!! :swear: Now I'm carrying around pointless crap for eternity.

This is why I won't be looting part of Motor Runners corpse. :thumbsdown:
