Hi

I have only played Arena and Daggerfall in the series. My favorite part is going into dungeons. Are there a lot of dungeons in Oblivion?

Thanks

Patrick

On my completionist playthrough, I recorded about 341-ish locations found. I don't know the real amount, as I don't consult the uesp unless absolutely required, even after all these years. Caves, Aeylid ruins, forts... and the like. Shivering Isles, has wonderful dungeons, if you have that. There are several outdoor.... areas that involve discovery as well. The Pale Pass Quest, "Lifting the Vale" stands out as a wonderful journey through these areas, and then ultimately into a deep dark dungeon.

Knights of the NIne as well. You might find yourself pleasantly surprised by the variety of environs underground. But those are my two septims.

Oblivion has a lot of dungeons, but they also leave a lot to desire. "Copy & paste design" is commonly thrown around criticism for Elder Scrolls dungeons, but in Oblivion's case it's actually true.
