Are there rare spell tomes like there are rare weapons? : V

By this time everyone should know atleast 1 rare nowhere-else-to-be-found weapon... But is there rare spells aswell? This was something i always hoped for while waiting for skyrims release..
so, yes or no?

I know Transmute is found in a dungeon, I have no idea if it can be bought (It's an adept level spell, so not really a spoiler there)

So by ''rare'' you mean theres a few of the same spell or is it a '' unique '' spell meaning theres only one?
