They look fine to me. I don't know a lot about computers, but I do know if your graphics card is having a hard time with the graphics setting on "high", adding mods won't help that much. There are mods that fix things that are wrong with the graphics, such as more realistic lighting effects, clipping, aliasing, etc, but mods that add texture to the game world are adding more processing to the image, which your graphics card can't handle if it's maxed out anyway. You can download some different graphics mods and test them all out in the same area of the game and see if your framerate drops and all that, but it's hard to say what would best help your graphics without knowing if you've already maxed out the potential of your card. You might want to ask this in the tech forum, where you can list what specs your PC has and people will be able to tell you straight away what it can handle.
http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/35507/? - you can see the review of it here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pUiH-IWsuL8 (the first mod reviewed)
http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/20781//? - The same guys reviewed this combined with the above pack and thought it was amazing when combined (I must agree and I saw the toned down Youtube Video).
EDIT: This should probably be in the mods section...
the skyrim 2k hd texture pack is much better than that ultra hd texture pack.

Ah, I was about to link that, but from their review the Ultra HD Texture Pack sounded better.
It aims to do the exact same thing. But the 2k texture package has been a work in progress since 11.11.11. So it has a lot more time and effort put into it and encompasses MUCH more.
For any game Skyrims graphics are not only good, but I'd say Excellent (Both PC and Console versions look great). I have rarely seen a game with this much attention to detail. I have yet to play Guild Wars 2 (PC,MMO), but aside from that I'd say Skyrim is a few notches above most other games, including the MMO's I've played. This is my favorite game to play, and spend more time playing it than any other game.
