Are they trying to sell tes4 models?

Post » Thu Dec 09, 2010 10:31 pm

I was perusing some 3D sites and came across these links:

http://www.cornucopia3d.com/purchase.php?item_id=8923
http://www.cornucopia3d.com/purchase.php?item_id=8924

It has what looks to be an exact duplicate of the same models used in Anvil...
Unless I'm mistaken some lil bugger is trying to make a buck at Beth's expense!

I hope I'm wrong, but if I'm not...looks like the poor sap's gonna be needing that money for a good trial lawyer.

EDIT: This is a blatant frakin' rip-off! Check out these meshes!

I dont think your Wrong, Bethesda should sic their lawyers on these clowns. Those look exactly like meshes and textures from Oblivion. Anvil and Chorrol to be exact

Those are definitely Oblivion meshes. And VampLena is correct: they're from Anvil and Chorrol.

As far as gaming goes this irritates me, but as far as as being a fellow artist, this INFURIATES me! :banghead: The punk should get his
*gratuitous and abusive use of expletives* handed to him! :toughninja: But no matter, he has just dug his own tomb...

Thanks for the info! At the very least those guys theft/profit were only secondary as Vlad's was much more direct, so my guess is that he'll have a lttle more time to think about it..Though, I'm wondering just how severe his punishment will be IF he's actually from the Russian Federation?

I would then guess just how "CORNYcopula" would weather the brunt of the storm that will be Bethesda's wrath? :flamethrower:

I couldn't agree more!

I'm amazed at the stupidity of how someone actually thought that they can get away from posting their theft of an extremely popular game that even the most casual player that has logged at least 150 hrs playing (Hell, I logged at least 3K+ since owning it)...At a 3D Prog site to boot!
