I don't know about any of those.

BUT:

Immortal means you live forever, but you can be killed.
Invincible means you can't be killed.

No I'm sorry but:

Immortal means:
–adjective
1. not mortal; not liable or subject to death; undying: our immortal souls.
3. not liable to perish or decay; imperishable; everlasting.

To me that includes not ageing and not able to die.

Invincible means:
–adjective
1. incapable of being conquered, defeated, or subdued.
2. insuperable; insurmountable: invincible difficulties.

This is just unbeatable nothing to do with death.

well you will actually have to play it on the xbox for it to work, it's not compatible with the 360 unless you override your 360 with third party software, which is against the EULA.

You might be wrong on this count, I'm pretty sure if you search for compatable original xbox games for the 360, Morrowind will be in on the list,

"how do you know?" I hear you ask.

"Well cause I have just loaded it up and am currently playing it fine" I reply :)

They do state that you may fine some occational glitches, but nothing game breaking or that a reload wouldn't fix. But so far I have not seen a thing, and have been playing it on the 360 on and off for a couple of years.

I think there is a compatability list on xbox.com somewhere

Thanks for the link :)

I was actually looking for the xbox version of Morrowind. Do you think EB Games will have it?

I think I speak for at least 90% of people when I say Morrowind will just be a lot better on the computer with the quick load times and lack of hassle. Plus theres mods.. EB games probably won't stock Morrowind anymore, they don't give a crap about older games :(

A lot of people will be content playing morrowind for the nostalgia, but if its your first time playing the graphics might be a bit of a shock for you, in which case you may want to get the better clothing/faces mods.

This is Skyrim...not an action movie like Underworld.
I am not sure how they will treat werewolves, but I am suspecting they will be similar to bloodmoon. It is a common thing that you need silver to hurt a werewolf.

I personally think that they don't age, but can be killed, but not that easy.
Still, that's only me.

Except when I popped my Morrowind into my 360 it wasn't compatible and I had to install an emulator in my 360 to play it. That's how I know <_<

Perhaps one of the newer 360s might be compatible but a second generation 360 isn't.

Well I have never installed an emulator as far as I know so I guess it is now already installed on newer 360's or it downloaded automatically from live when I first played, I cant honestly remember.

I believe they are the same as vampires ageless and immune to disease but kill-able, Tharsten Heart-Fang from bloodmoon is a werewolf, and he says he has had hercines ring for many generations.

Perhaps, I don't have live on my 360 and I have an older 360. But if someone else has to install an emulator, I don't recommend it, it's laggy and makes loading times horribly long.

But yeah, if anyone wants to read "On Lycanthropy", read the part where he writes that his colleagues assure him that "there is A wereshark" that roams the oceans. It makes it seem to me that they are ageless by that passage but nowhere in any lore does it mention one way or another if they can live forever.

In Bloodmoon, you had to fight some of Hircine's ancient Werewolves under Mortag Glacier. These had been frozen or confined since the last Bloodmoon centuries ago, although some were suspended in ice statues which may have extended their lifespans. (Interestingly enough most of them were Argonians before becoming Werewolves, but that makes sense considering their hunting nature. Hircine probably admires the beast races greatly.)

Morrowind works just fine on my 360. It's certainly compatible.

I think the whole argonian thing was more of gameplay than actual races turned lycan.

I like to imagine he'd be fond of their natural skills as hunters, regardless.

Hate to be the one that intrudes gameplay mechanics into lore, but weren't they Argonian because that's the first race on an alphabetically ordered list? Thought I heard that somewhere.

The point is: Do werewolves age or not.

The answer is: we don't have enough evidence to give an answer.

My guess is: Probably slower than normal, if at all.

Yea, I'm willing to bet they are either immortal(They don't age) or they simply have extended lifespans.

Extended lifespans is your safest "lore safe" bet then.

But this is Monkey Truth Zone, so since it's more fun and exciting to imagine they're immortal, let's go with that.

Hmm...I meant in terms of who lives longer (vampires vs werewolves).

Yes, werewolves in Bloodmoon do heal quicker than humans. Three hours to heal completel for a human is equivilent to one hour compared to a werewolf(If he/she has killed that night). The healing ability in Bloodmoon is called "Spirit Of The Wolf".

Vamps have been documented as being immortal, and it was its design by the daedra that created them.

Most likely werewolves are too. But our best bet is that they simply have extended lifespans. We know Hircine is the Father of Man-beasts. But we have yet to discover how they were created. Which was the first Lycanthrope. We know Lamae was the first vampire.
