Good concern-list DarkDeliverians
My concerns:
8 - I don't like quest markers and compass icons. I worry for them being in Skyrim, and worry for them not being optional. I prefer exploring and thinking on my own, without being hand-held like a mindless robot.
10 - I'd love to see my body. I sure hope we will be able to. Much cooler and greater experience when, for instance, looking down a cliff.
12 - Combat in Oblivion could be made tactial and not slash slash slash (but it still leaned more to slashy), depending on how you actually fought. A reviewer that visited Bethesda in Utah wrote that he thought the combat in Skyrim to be not that improved than from how it was in Oblivion. Therefore, I worry.
13 - Obvious and partly already confirmed. I'd wish Bethesda would pay more attention to PCs and not dumb them down like before. Bethesda should learn from... other game developers in this regard, instead of forcingly make everything equal.
15 - Textures have previously been low-res in BGS's games. Some are really really low-res in the trailer as well. Still, it was shot on Xbox 360. Todd has said there will be higher res textures for the PC. How high, he didn't want to say. Textures weren't high for the PC on Oblivion or Fallout 3, so therefore I worry.
16 - I wanna ACTUALLY climb mountains. So many on the forums have talked about it and Bethesda hasn't responded. Therefore, I worry.
17 - I don't see why I shouldn't be able to block with the sword I hold in one of my hands. There have been talk about this but I never quite got it. Still, I worry.
20 - I'm not a fan of magnetism. I can aim myself. Like with crosshair. It better be optional or super-extremely subtle and only gets in use when companions or such are near.
27 - I love mounts. Who doesn't? I hope they'll be in and that they'll be awesome.
30 - Confirmed. I'm not worried, but disappointed that there are no open cities.
31 - Confirmed. I'm not worried, but disappointed that the world isn't bigger than Oblivion's.
Concerning p. 25 "There exists suspicions of the trailer's dragon fight being scripted.":
Question: As for Skyrim, can players expect to have similar encounters and battles with dragons to the face off played throughout the trailer? Will the dragons' behavior be the same?
Answer: Dragons do all of the things you see in the trailer: bite, breathe, crawl, crash land. And their actions are not scripted, so you never know when one might attack you, or what they're going to do when you fight them. I can't wait to see what modders do with them.
