Are you annoyed that there was no news at E3?

Post » Mon Mar 14, 2011 9:34 pm

I thought that Bethesda might even show just a teaser trailer for TESV instead of showing nothing

Its been about 5 years since IV and we haven't seen anything on the fifth

Have they given up on the game and are now focusing on other games?

They clearly said that there would be no announcement, so I wasn't expecting one. Bethesda announces when they are good and ready.

Btw, E3 doesn't start until tomorrow.

It's very upsetting but we will have to wait for the Game Informer. If nothing is said in GI then it'll be a cold day in Tamriel.

What? You missed the trailer? It was the most beautiful sight I've ever seen and I cannot wait for Spring so I am going to travel near the speed of light and speed things up a bit, see you shortly(Relativistically speaking).

The show hasn't started yet and we still don't know what is in Bethesda's second booth... all of the published titles on the official Bethesda E3 list are in their mammoth Dino booth... and the smaller one, perfectly sized for a single game is not yet known.

As has been mentioned by almost everyone before me, E3 hasn't begun yet, but I'm still crossing my fingers: Bethesda may have said they aren't gonna release anything, but for all we know they're pulling a Valve on us. There have been rumors from relatively reliable sources that something Elder Scrolls-related might be announced. Whether that's an MMO or TESV is open to speculation.

No.

Unless they do something at the booth (still a possibility) then we know that it'll be an up[coming GI announcement. What is so bad about that?

And if they don't announce it in the GI? Then it's time to grab the bucket of ice cream and sob in the corner.

Have fun with that. I'll be playing the old Zelda games to get ready for the new one, then Metroid, then Halo, then MGS Rising. If it still hasn't been announced by then, I'll play through the Tales of Symphonia games again. Look, I'm set here. I am super-excited to see a new TES, but I have a back up plan. It's like a zombie plan, only without the trip to Alaska.

And then when it is announced, I'll play through Morrowind and Oblivion again. I am good.

Yes I'm disappointed. While I hate it when companies announce games two or three years ahead of time(I'm looking at you Halo Wars), it would be nice to hear at least something. They told us that there wouldn't be any announcements at E3 so I'm not expecting it, but I am getting impatient. I want to hear an announcement giving us a ballpark release date.

I'll be honest when I say I really don't give a rat's ass about Call of Cthulhu, Brink, New Vegas or any other crap that they've started making. TESV is the only game I'm looking forward to, so give us a damn release date

Calm down, dude, they specifically said they wouldn't announce it at E3 anyway.

They're publishing those, not making them.

Beth has two booths? One for the two pieces of steamy fresh crap and the ok looking games like FNV and Brink? The other booth for??? Why do the have to booths?

Hunted looked like a pretty piece of crap to me.

Bashing unpublished games won't make the TESV announcement come any sooner, so lets not do it, ok?

While I'd love to know for sure that TES V is in the works, an E3 announcement would be pretty pedestrian compared to the Oblivion countdown. Now if Quake Con comes and goes without any news, I won't be annoyed, but I will be pretty disappointed.

Valve seems to have done the same, but there's a large chance they'll finally be announcing Half-Life 2: Episode 3, so who knows, maybe Todd Howard is Gabe Newell's secret twin brother.

That would be a sick move on Todd's part but it'd be worth it to surprise us like that....if only.
