u could create awesome traps, like placing loads of arrows, sharp swords and wine / poisons bottles, cover the whole thing in blankets and pillows. so the 'unvarry wictim' would think 'mein Gott, zome bed to schlaffen' and, and... and DIIIIIIEEEE :dead:

Well I know you can build a fort out of the bricks you can find in ruins, with a little patience and item duping.
Someone should do a mod that adds pillows to the game. I feel like I'm missing out :(

My character collects unique items, and a lot of the highest tier gems, to show his power. Some of his gold is stashed, but sometimes some of the things doesn't remain, so my character hates thieves. So hes not a friend at all to the thieves's guild, just as he hates the Dark Brotherhood.

my morrowind character collected armour, but helmets specifically. I had the house with the spiral staircase and a different helmet on each step. It really makes you appreciate how much more stuff there was in morrowind. In oblivion, I had the vile lair pool filled with gems, stones etc. Sometimes, on the old crappy computer I would swim through the pool and make the game crash as all the stones tried to move around.
Some of the ooo objects are pretty neat to pile up too.

I am definitely a collector.
Most of my characters like to collect Platinum/Ayield coins, while others collected swords, or wines.
What about your characters?

Welkynd stones. I have about 300 in a chest in my house. For fun sometimes I like to pick them up and then drop them on the floor. :) [And watch the lag]

With the Havoc physics in Oblivion, I wouldn't be surprised if those pillow forts suddenly explode, anyway.

Welcome to the forums :D
And for a first collection, try something in abundance, unless you really want a challenge.
Some questions to help decide exactly would be, Are you a thief type? Or do you get by without stealing a thing?
Cause if you steal stuff, I'd say raid rich people of their Wines. Doing this gets you a lot quite fast.
Other good choices are gems, and anything that looks cool when dropped,and/or that fits your characters style.

Oh i steal quite a lot actually. he's a sneaky-based character.

He's a new character also, about level 13. Still plenty of quests to do and things to take care of so i think im gonna agree with you on something thats in abundance. dont really need a challenge at this point in time.

I do like the wine idea. Would they look good displayed in a house? or another area of the sort?
I know gems would be easy to display because theyre so small you could put them in a basket as someone mentioned earlier or atop a shelf.

maybe daggers. thatd be pretty chill too.

I'm a collector of rat meat, had around 100 a time ago but made some potions out of them so now Im only on about 40.
Ever since the tutorial dungeon my redguard had an urge to eat all the rat meat he found so he began to collect it. Now as an vampire his dinner usually exists of rat meat and human blood... :mohawk:

Mine to, actually I found a skull once who was double size, surprised me a lot then I placed id. Not sure where I picked it up but suspect it was in the vampire dungeon closest to the bandit campground in Mazora's quest.
Except of this I collect armor and clothing, has to have one of each. yes and everybody colect things who might become useful.

Yeah I do, I have some bottles at my house in the waterfront. Also I make sure to atleast always keep one with me because it can be very handy sometimes when you really need to feed but there is not target nearby :liplick:
I also have lots of human hearts at my house, but those are too hard to get so Im not a real collector of those, it just fits good with my 2x Argonian hearts which I got from a dark brotherhood quest

Ha ha ha, just got an idea for vampire trap :

- collect every human blood bottle possible;
- place them at =/= localtions each;
- surround each by garlic;

so vamps come by thinking 'dear god, i just NEED tha-' to find out he cannot even get close :laugh: .

Haha rofl :D You mean! :nono:

Oooor you could just place a bottle on any random trap that activates if you step on it.
"MUST. FEED! Oh, a bottle of human blood! *rushes towards the bottle and picks it up* "BWONG!!". You just got pwwwned by a BIG spikey ball.
:clap:
