Cool with it, yes.

Sold on it, no. So far it just looks like a combat driven open world game. (judging from the video). I don't know much yet, nor will until after release about how the dialogue actually turns out, the depth and brain-bending power of story or quests, etc. Me want more than blood and superfulous finishing moves. Me want depth of world, not depth of blade.

HA Good fun!

The only thing I'm not happy about is the current lack of spears, but I guess you just gotta let some things go. :sadvaultboy:

Otherwise everything looks FANTASTIC.

Absolutely! The game is definitely at the top of my list. The only issues I have are small graphical issues. First, I was really hoping for a brand new engine as opposed to another upgrade, but oh well. I would have loved Skyrim to have a completely unique and different look, but it looks very Oblivion-esque. Granted, it is an improvement, but very same-y. Lastly, the combat doesn't seem to have the punch that I was hoping for. Granted, we have seen very little and it is early on, but the little we have seen still looks like the weapons phase through enemies, and sometimes don't even connect (while still dealing damage). These are both very small issues though, and they would really have to screw something major up (like adding QTEs) to make me NOT love this game!!

Whoa! I'm really surprised. I thought there would be a bunch of "no" answers given how many people have complained about the smallest of details.

I'm glad you guys are still on board though. I've been excited and optimistic since I heard it was announced. Every time I look at the series, I just more and more improvements as time goes on, I don't even need to hear anything about Skyrim to know it will be fantastic. However, I have heard about it and everything I've heard sounds great. They're fixing a lot of small issues and improving on just about everything, from the sounds of it. I'm a little shaky about a few things because they could end up awful OR they could be wonderful, so I'm not getting my hopes up on those features (but even if they do end up "awful" it'll be a minor, minor issue, I'm sure.)

I was really let down when fallout turned out to be oblivion with guns.

Soon people are going to start saying Skyrim is just Fallout 3 with swords, which I guess would just be Oblivion.

I agree! Today I was talking to my boyfriend about TES lore...and then specifically the lore of the Nords.. then I went on about the province of Skyrim...and then I was like OMFG SKRYIM and that was the end of the conversation because I couldn't take the excitement...

I really like what I have seen so far, the land has a rugged bueaty to it, and the detail in it is impressive. I hope they are able to make combat more intense, and "dramatic". I really want to be able to picture the danger my charecter will be facing in fights. everything seems to be going in the right direction so far.

Yeah, this poll really needed a "hell yeah" option. I haven't been this excited about a game in a long time. Even if the main quest isn't so hot, the modding opportunities the new engine appear to have are incredible. However, from everything I'm seeing, the main quest is going to rock too.

This is the first game where I downloaded the trailer to my phone to show people - and everyone I've shown was impressed (despite the fact my phone's screen is tiny)

Looks great, but that doesn't matter in the slightest. What does matter is if it freaking works. If it CTDs/freezes all the time, ships with broken feature sets, has scripting bugs all over the place and is basically an unplayable chunk of garbage looks won't save it. After the total disaster of Fallout New Vegas I have zero faith that Skyrim will ship in even a remotely playable state.

Yeah, I know. How dare I ask for and spend money on a product that works as intended. That's just so unreasonable these days.

Please do not compare Skyrim to New Vegas.Bethesda did not make New Vegas. All I know is that the last 3 games I played by Bethesda all won game of the year, pretty much nuff said.
If you still dont have faith then try and look for a better game.Maybe Two Worlds is more your thing.

Since two people voted No.
I corrected the poll. Since they were obviously lying.
(What kind of Blasphemous Traitor would vote NO?)

They didnt even explain why. Because there is no reason.
