Are you getting antsy for Fallout 4? And how are you biding

Mostly just pretending to work, arguing the logistics of a fictional timeline, making the dinosaurs angry. Fantasy baseball helps.

I doubt we'll see Fallout 4 this year. Given Z-O's current job openings, this years big Zenimax game is their unannounced unknown MMORPG.
Hopefully we'll see something at quake con.

Well i have lots of things to do before fallout 4 so i have time to wait atleast for now. Even though i would want it to be released soon as possible.

Now fallout new vegas with all dlc;s consume my time, also bioshock, sims3, portal take my time. And ofcourse learning udk and cryengine takes time too.
Also decorating my apartment takes time and improving my poor memory. :spotted owl:

Well, I'm for my part just got me a PC capable of running New Vegas with some nice mods.
And what shall I say? It almost feels like a new game. Running around in real darkness alone makes it sooo much more immersive.
So, i'm gonna play this for a good while longer.
If I should get bored, there're still Batman, Alpha Protocol and Deus Ex HR sitting on my shelf, unplayed so far.
But I don't think i'll get bored soon.
Didn't touch FNV for almost a year after my first 2 playthroughs, until the DLCs were all out, and now I even have lots of additional content through mods.
Also, spring and summer are coming soon, times where I usually do other things, than spending my evenings and weekends at home.
Regarding, the next episode, I keep my anticipation for FO4 within tight limits.
Because, if they pull a Skyrim on it, which is far from being unlikely, we'll have to live with a new game that largely ignores the elements that I found to be better in FNV compared to FO3.

Well yeah i want a new game already. I quickly get bored with games. *not bored but ..something around there*

But i would prefer Bethesda focus more on how will they make a new Fallout Game for the PS3. Rememeber what disasters they did with Skyrim and New Vegas.
That's what i want Bethesda to spend time in. I don't care if it takes them a year to release in on the PS3. Just don't let any gltiches or frame-rate problems be in it.

I would like a new Fallout, only because I don't care as much for Skyrim, and am being pretty selfish when I say I don't want to see any DLC's for Skyrim

I think Beth will continue to fully support Skyrim throughout 2012 with patches and DLC. Don't expect them to completely shift focus until next year.

I'm with ya on this one.
Im guessing the DLC will be very large, tons of loot, and very repetitive quests.

I really thought Skyrim would hold me over untill F4, but it's already collecting dust..... Sad really.

Antsy for news! but also for the next DLC sale (i only have Broken steel and Old World Blues) as i recently started new games on both Fo3 and NV to get the achievement's i was missing and still really enjoyed playing them both, rather buy 2 for the price of one ;)

The only game i'm currently really looking forward to is Halo 4, Reach was a huge disappointment for me so nothing so far has compared to the immense enjoyment i got from Halo 3's multiplayer. Anyhoo since i recently started going back to my old game's out of boredom to simply get the achievement's (and at the time waiting for Skyrim's 1.4 patch) i seem to find myself addicted to achievements >.> haha so i more or less have plenty to keep me occupied until Halo 4 itself (providing it actually goes back to core Halo and not add tacky gimmick's that ruin the entire thing!).

Other than that i'll be renting game's again so im more or less sorted :)

1) Are you starting to get antsy for some Fallout news, and when do you personally anticipate an announcement

2) How are you biding your time until we get something to chew on?

1) Somewhat. Sometime late next year or early 2014.

2) Mainly school; but when I have time to play games: Skyrim, Dustforce, and Borderlands.

No Mass Effect 3 will be coming out soon and that..that and the old Mass Effect DLC's I never played. In truth once Mass Effect 3 comes out my social life will be destroyed for a few months.

Hm, not really antsy for it. Only get antsy after there is the announcement of its development being at a certain stage. Then the forums get interesting.

Mainly spending time reading Old English/German myth, the news, & correcting grammar on The Vault's pages. It just gets under my skin, all of that bad grammar.

Skyrim is the cream of the crop right now. 10 freaking GotY awards. That's nuts. Beth will be supporting it big time for the foreseeable future.

Yes I'm Angsty for FO4  Can't Wait for it to be announced, a couple of screens wud be nice !!!! bit like DOOM 4, angsty for it as well, sum game Franchises are worth getting Angsty for, again another is RE 6.

There's plenty of games to play in the meantime, getting pretty Angsty for the FO:NV UE, to play the DLC, out soon!!!! Late of course (Ire & UK). While there are plenty of games to play as I said sum games are good enuff for a bit of Ansty wanting. Like Skyrim or Mass Effect 3 are worth sum and for me personally Metro Last Light. IMO we may see an announcement this year at say E3 but more than likely 2013 announcement wud be a safer bet and wud be complete poo cause it wud correspond with the new Xbox, which is something I'm not looking forward to that much and it'll probably be 1- 2 years after the 720 release before I get to play FO4 which will be [censored]e!!!!

I hoping against hope we'll get FO4 for the current gen, so my angsty feelings will disappear into "Y is this Games Console filled with so much crap I don't need or want...what are all these Ads doing on screen..."

I'm quitting Skyrim (at least for the forseeable future) and going back to other games like ME 2 and New Vegas. I'll switch to ME 3 come March and see what Team Howard has to offer Skyrim when I beat that.

1. Getting antsy for news, a bit sure. But my guess is that your 2013 estimation for any new info could well be correct. Bethesda is making the DLC's for Skyrim right now (along with the unannounced game which possibly is Fallout 4) and making an announcement of Fallout could be distracting from the attention those DLC's are likely set out to seek.

It's good that they take their time, though.

2. There are other games and other activities to attend to while waiting. I'm looking forward to Risen 2, South Park the Game, and XCOM: Enemy Unknown - and I'll likely give Fallout 2 yet another run. Had a fanfic story in mind, but I don't know if I'll end up writing it. In general, though, I guess the less Fallout (and the less Bethesda games) while waiting, and the better - fresher - Fallout 4 will eventually feel (if it ends up feeling anything at all) as it'll likely follow Bethesdas general design philosophy.
I had heard that they would be making expansions not dlc, which I would much prefer. I don't like dlc, your paying $10 for 4 or 5 hours of play with little to no reason to ever go back to them.

Oh and yes I am getting antsy, very much so. But I will have Metro: Last Light and maybe they will finally make me buy the ending for RAGE. There isn't any other games I want, that I know of at least. Besides I have supplies to buy, and cars to modify.

I played my first Assassin's Creed game a couple days ago when I started up Revelations, and I'm really taking an interest in the series. That said...the Fallout itch is beginning to grow. Sure wouldn't mind them at least confirming that it is in production.

If you haven't played STALKER games, you should give 'em a try, for the worst hunger. They have some Fallout vibes to them and are generally good games with an unmatched atmosphere.

Is it a PC exclusive?

By the way I uninstalled Skyrim today, to boring and took up to much space.
