I started my first-ever playthrough of Morrowind recently, purchasing it shortly after Skyrim was announced.

I will also play more Fallout: NV once all four of the planned DLC are available.

Those will be the RPGs I play between now and 11.11.11.

Replaying Morrowind, actually.

I prefer Oblivion, but I've played through it a dozen times, while I had only played through Morrowind once. Now I've finished playthrough number two, and I'm halfway through number three.

Even though my original character had over 460 hours on him I decided to reinstall and start from scratch. However I couldn't bring myself to invest the time needed to mod it back to something I find playable. That, coupled with the reality the game still runs like a elephant in a tub of molasses brought me to uninstall it for the last time. Lot of good memories with Oblivion but time to move on.

Bring on Skyrim! B)

No, but I've been playing the Nehrim total conversion quite a bit. Also some other RPG's like Two Worlds II, River of Time etc. There are lots of newer, good games to tide me over until 11-11-11.

I think if I played Oblivion for hundreds of hours this year, Skyrim wouldn't feel fresh or new. It will undoubtedly resemble Oblivion in many ways, since it's made by the same people. I just think I need a little break from that particular style to broaden my horizons.

Yep, started playing Oblivon two weeks ago actually. It's cool how the people in Bruma mention Skyrim. Then, I read the Wolf Queen for the first time. A must read btw. Here's hoping her ghost (or wraith or whatever) is in a haunted Castle Solitude... along with skeleton butlers. LOL Sometimes you'll hear people randomly mention that the Nords of Skyrim are fighting (the king?) in Morrowind. The exact words escape me.

Will Morrowind run on windows 7?

I've got it installed..
Arcanum, Torment ( the original 4 disk set ), and FO: tactics do as well, though modding them and giving them the better resolution patches would help.

OP's question, yes re installing everything again, getting it modded to where I had it before.
Then look for some newer mods for any outfits or tweaks, then I'll hit the ground running when I get a role in mind.
Maybe I'll start my Fall from Grace retcon again.

Will Morrowind run on windows 7?

It does, but for loading things it seems to be slower than Oblivion on my PC for some reason lol. Not a lot, just a little jerkiness. I have been playing Oblivion as a Bow/Shortsword Hunter. I used a cave house mod and have never entered a city for anything. I find better stuff in the field than in I got from quests lol.

I don't know if you can call it replaying Morrowind because I don't feel like I ever really stopped... I might play through Oblivion with a crapload of mods one more time before Skyrim's release, I don't know. And there's Deus Ex: HR coming out soon...

Other crap filled the gap
While I waited to begin...

Yeah I didn't have XboxLive when I played through everything initially, so I didn't have any achievements. I already finished it, so I'm reading A Game of Thrones until Dragon Age 2, the Playing Dungeon Siege, replaying Dragon Age 2, playing Torchlight, replaying Mass Effect 2, playing Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, dropping out of college, then playing Skyrim and Mass Effect 3

Played throught it many times over the last 4 years - usually heavily modded, but recently I started a new game on my Xbox, once I got past my "agh i hate vanilla oblivion" attitude, i`m enjoying playing it again.
