Are you going back to Re-Play Oblivion now?

Post » Tue Sep 07, 2010 5:56 am

I'm thinking of doing a Samurai play through with OB. It's been awhile since ive played though. Anyone know where to get a katana early in the game?

I traded in my Xbox 360 so I've only got the PS3 now. Naturally I got the GotY of Oblivion. I prefer Morrowind, but I can't play it anymore (until I get a half decent PC) and at least Oblivion will get me used to this type of gaming with the PS3's pad (I originally bought it for Blu-Ray, so I still don't have much gaming experience on it).

Mostly these days, I am playing Oblivion. With tons of mods and a Redguard character.

Modded Morrowind with MGE. One Nord and some other characters.

Both looks spectacular but my FPS is on teens.. I need more RAM for Oblivion and better CPU for Morrowind badly. And a better GPU for both. :)

And also Daggerfall for small sessions. I find it inspirational.

I finished Oblivion not too long ago (Literally the only side quests I have left are in SI) so I restarted Morrowind and I am on Tribunal atm, may finish it today as it goes by fast

I started playing again after Skyrim was announced.

Last week I tried to install a couple new mods and it stopped working (game wouldn't even start) and immediate fixes wouldn't work. So I just moved on to another game.

Since I'm still a newbie at Oblivion, I'll still be playing it (and other games: Infamous, Uncharted 2, etc) to keep me busy until Skyrim (well, maybe after these games come out: ME3, Uncharted 3, Infamous 2, Killzone 3, etc) is up for sale. =)

I'd really like to, but in all honesty I don't think I could actually bring myself to deal with a of the BS.

I'd have to very much mod a lot of it, leveling, level scaling, etc, but most mods do things I do not want, like add crappy looking assets I would never use in my game. And then later in the game use cheats/overpowered gear and spells to avoid spending forever chopping a stupid goblin.

I thought about it but by the time I get fcom and all the other mods I used to use installed and happy with each other Skyrim will be out...

Does currently working on a mod for Oblivion count? The only time I'm playing anything right now is to playtest something from my mod.

Nah, can't be bothered to instal it, re-download all the mods I need for it (Better citites alone would take too long) and I'd likely get caught up in making mods myself, i don't have time for something that involving right now. I'll wait for Skyrim, less hassle.

I've never really stopped playing Morrowind or Oblivion. They are both installed and I still play and add mods to them very often.

I am playing through Morrowind for the first time, then I will make a master oblivion character who exceeds all guilds. I'm reading the Imperial Library about the plots of Arena, Daggerfall, Redguard, and Battlespire, because they are too outdated and buggy to play. But who knows? Maybe I'll give Daggerfall a chance?

I'm definitely on Morrowind right now, although I'm sure I'll get to Oblivion at least once before 11.11.11

I'm planning on doing a fresh install with FCOM and other assorted mods, some of which I still haven't even gotten around to playing.

Oh, and Morrowind, of course.

Unfortunately NO :(

I'm currently replaying DA since I bought the Ultimate edition as well as the ME series and also bought The Witcher EE Platinum so that when the 2nd one comes out I'll be able to load my original save game.

Besides that way Skyrim will be falling in love with TES all over again :)

There should be a Playing a non TES game option. ATM all I'm doing is playing Black Ops + Mass Effect 2, I plan on playing Borderlands / Red Dead Redemption / Oblivion / New Vegas within the next 6 months or so.
