Are you going back to Re-Play Oblivion now?

Post » Tue Sep 07, 2010 12:04 pm

I voted yes, but the truth is...I have never stopped playing Oblivion since...mid December...and before that, I had 3 months of Morrowind...and before that, YEARS of Oblivion...and before that, YEARS of Morrowind.

I am doing it already :D Some days ago, I passed the Main Quest for the first time. Yes, it is my favourite game and I have had ti from some years and still hadn't completed the Main Quest :P Did it now though! I'm with a Nord btw.

Nope. Going to make a new character in Morrowind so that my standards and expectations will be astornomically high again by the time Skyrim is out. :chaos:

The game itself is in storage somewhere. I'd have to find it, install it, download and install the patches, download and install the mods that made the game playable (Open Cities, unique landscapes, the unofficial patch, the list goes on and on...)

By the time I get all that done, Skyrim will probably have already been released.

Yes. I'm going to play them all a bit before Skyrim is released, but I recently started my first stealth-based character in Oblivion after over two years of playing the game. It feels like a whole new game, now. I'm doing quests I've never done before, using a fighting style I've never used before, joining factions I've never joined before, playing a race I've never played before, seeing interiors that I've never seen before, and making money in ways I've never made money before. Being a thief is fun.

Yup. Playing through Oblivion right now with OOO and enjoying myself quite a bit. Seems I finally got my character the way I wanted, after playing the game multiple times. Always wanted a Nord Melee Fighter/Mage hybrid, and could never get the mage part right. This time it seems I have a winning combination. I basically just use Nord racials as the basis for his melee part, and anything I buff him with is Mage skills, and it works out real nicely. Not too far along yet (only lvl 9) but I plan on doing a lot of the game, then starting a Dunmer Mage/Thief type class and make him evil as sin. From there, if there are no other games holding my attention, I'll finally get around to play Morrowind. I have 3 copies of that game, but have barely played it

Going back to morrowind for a while for the nostalgia factor. Then I'll go back to oblivion for a time, then Skyrim hopefully.

No. I don't have a gaming rig right now so I can't play PC with mods. Playing the 360 version just doesn't do it for me anymore.

I've waited 4 years for Skyrim, or however long since Oblivion has been out, I can wait another 10 months or so.

No. Honestly i can't stand Oblivion. I almost hate it. It wowed me the first hours and loved all that was better, but what was worse kept growing and it was intolerable.

That's why the Skyrim hype got me to play Morrowind GOTY again.

yah me to after i beat every guild and every side quest and got to level 50 with max stats i just got bored but now i playing fallout new vegas if you havent yet you should take a looksie at it

Opened daggerfall in DOSbox, realised I am to old and too obviously mortal to put the hours into something this slow and this big. So it's Oblivion on the xbox, fast, fun and pretty enough for my tastes.

Nope, I'm pretty much done with Oblivion for good, well at least for the next five years. Been playing it at least once/twic per week since the day it was released all the way up to a month or so ago. I am currently playing through daggerfall again, and Morrowind (on my twenty-somethingish playthrough).

Eh tried to but couldn’t get back into it
After playing as all the races, all the character types, and doing every single quest (I looked it up to see if there was more and turns out I have done them all).
It gets a little old, but I'm loving Morrowind at the moment.

I'm playing FONV Sierra Madre right now.

Stuck in some kind of glitch and can't progress through the main quest line :brokencomputer:

RAAARRGGGHH!!!!???!?!!?!!!

I'll play Oblivion soon after I'm a little do-over with Fallout or need a break.

Just so I can go back and play Oblivion to find find something to complain or want changed for it in the forums. Like most people here.
