Are you going to "Blind" TES V?

Yes, I will definitely go in "blind" and I'll be wary of the spoiler section here. Unless I run into a puzzlebox* I can't find of course :P

*Joking aside I never did have any trouble finding the puzzlebox

I have always played blind.... I don't think I ever looked up how to do a quest in any of the games, I did however gorge myself on lore. But that didn't really have any influence on the game itself. Besides, looking up how to do a quest or find an object kind of takes all the fun out of it. Like Assassins Creed or something, it's just not as fun. And I detest character build things; I normally make my own class based on rp reasons and nothing more. But it seems there won't even be classes like they were in Morrowind and Oblivion so... I'm not sure how that will work out, we shall see.

Yes, "Blind as a Bat" over here :D

I never looked up quest and characters on the internet, it I think ruins the whole experience.

The only major beef I had with New Vegas was that some of the quests were broken, and I had to go online to finish the game. Otherwise, I always play games blind on my first playthrough. Just me, the game, and a supply of coffee. I take my time too. Once that feeling is lost, you can't ever get it back.

Yes, I will definitely play blind. I play all games that way the first time through. As soon as Skyrim is released, I'll stay off the forums until I've completed at least one playthrough.

I'm not sure the fallout series is my favourite of all time and I could not bring myself not to look at all the things about New Vegas, but still the elder scrolls is also one of my favourites and I really want to play it without knowing much anout quests or locations of anything special so I suppose I will half look at it

IF you are unfamiliar with what blind means then it's basically not looking up any quests or characters or researching the game much on UESP or any other website.

Interesting. Back in my time this was called "playing"...

(Not that I would really recommend this anymore, with the amount of gamebreaking bugs a release version usually has nowadays.)

I think I am too OCD not to look anything up even though I know it would be a better experience if I didn't.

I might do that during the second or third playthrough.

This is a joke, right?

Best way to avoid disappointment is to avoid Hype, and judge the game by it's own merits. Features will be cut during deveploment, and sometimes those features are marketed before release (as was the case, tragically, with Oblivion). I try to avoid any and every info until i've played the game trough once.

Yes I'll play it like that the first few times before I start to "cheat".
