I will not. Shame upon them for leading to this media blackout because of their exclusive.

I'm a subscriber, but I think December's issue was my last for this subscription. Money's tight, so I can't really justify renewing. I'll probably just read it at a store.

I subscribed last month so I could get the awesome cover, as well as the inevitable ME3 and TESV covers I knew were coming.

Game Informer is sold at EB Games, right? We don't have Gamestop (name?) over here. Yeah, but if it is sold here, I'll definetely be getting it.

I'm going to buy two! I will read one, and frame the other and hang it on my wall! :D

Just kidding, but I will definitely buy one.

I just subbed to GI a little less than a week ago. So hopefully I get the Skyrim issue in the mail around the first week of January.

I still remember going to my local supermarket and grabbing a copy of the Oblivion cover story of game informer. I was in highschool, and my buddy bought it for me. I still have it in my closet. I look at it every couple of years...its fun to read what Game Informer thought of the game and look back on my own experience after hundreds of hours with Oblivion.

I'm sure this has been asked a million times -- subscribers get the edition early January. Does that mean it will hit shelves in February?

No

1) There's more information here
2) This place is free (well minus the purchase of a game)
3) Ya'll paraphrase wha'ts in the article.
4) Beth will eventually put up the screenshots that were in the mag
5) I don't get the magazine, and am not that much of a gamer.

No. Lucky me my room mate has a subscription to Game Informer and he never reads them. Beyond that I really don't care much for the whole exclusive thing Beth's doing so even if I wasn't essentially getting a free issue I probably wouldn't buy it out of principle.

It's convenient that magazine pages are always the same size as scanners found in most homes :user:

Can anybody tell me how much a GI is usually in a store?

I was thinking about a subscription (amazon has em for like $20), but this is the only one I'm really going to care about.

As I recall, they're about $10. It's a steal to get the subscription, as 12 issues is $15.

Or you could just get the same information at the same time, or earlier, for $0.
