Are you going to be good, or bad?

My characters usually don't enjoy doing injustice to people, but they aren't perfect either.

Definitely Neutral. My character does what she wants... when she wants. She doesn't care about the outcome.

I hate being evil Elder Scrolls / Fallout ... I just can't. I am either a very good person that helps everyone, or I am a thief that steals alot, but only from rich people. And I do it for my own survival, and for good cause.

Always tryed being evil but I just can't kill innocent people. Accept for the adoring fan...He deserved to die with he's yellow ice cream coupe. I guess i'll just play without deciding to be good or evil as always. I'll prolly end up somewhere neutral. Killing people that I hate and deserve it and helping the less fortunate.

Grey over a greyer grey.

My main character could broadly be considered good, at least by the people she's not killing at the moment. I play characters ranging from monstrously indifferent (never truly cruel to the relatively innocent, though), to ridiculously selfless, so I guess both to some extent.

As my first character I always play as if it was real life and I was in that or any given situation for real........ which tends too mean goody too shoes most of the time (ignoring the odd bit of theivery...... oh and the assassinations for the DB......... you know what I don't think I am that nice really)

I absolutely despise black and whiteness in video games, nobody is so simple as to be purely good or evil, or even neutral.

That depends...Is Santa Claus involved, at all?

Honestly I usually try to go neutral but end up going good, cause I'm such a nice person and can't bring myself to certain evil things. On my Oblivion character I even RPed that I wouldn't do any of the evil questlines such as DB or Thieves Guild. However, I decided to eat the heart at the end of the Mehrune's Razor quest, which automatically gave me 5 infamy points and turned me into a vampire, so I RPed that I could be evil from that point forward. And boy was I evil. Cheydinhal was never the same again. After that I went good again using the Pilgrimage. I know I killed almost everyone in Cheydinhal, but the gods forgive me so everyone else should too :P!

I just end up taking the moral high ground most of the time, which usually equates to "good". It's just in my nature.

My first character will be neutral. He's mostly a decent fellow, with an interest in learning ancient secrets and seeing strange and foreign lands. Overall has a pretty mercenary outlook on life and will do most sorts of jobs for cash.

Somewhat akin to the morality of the protagonist in a Clint Eastwood western. WIth a tendancy to lean toward good, but doing what is necessary...

My female pure mage - Lawful Good.
My female dual wielding fighter - Neutral Good/Chaotic Neutral.
My male axe wielding fighter - True Neutral/Neutral Good.
My dagger wielding theif - Chaotic Neutral.

I might make an evil character...I'm not sure. I just find playing good characters fun because of the 'Hey, you're the best hero of all time!' thing, and neutral because it pretty much means you do whatever gives you the biggest advantage, not caring much about others. Always a nice playstyle :)
Evil is just a little...predictable, if you know what I mean. People will hate you if they know your nature, and you probably don't care a great deal about the rewards for being evil such as money, as you should be doing evil for evil's sake (though I guess this only applies to Chaotic Evil characters).

There is no good or bad only shades of Grey. Good and Evil are merely arbitrary labels that old men use to simplify the explanatory of morality and to influence the choices of others. My character acts out of self interest, not petty morality.
