I might since only one of my charcters i play is considered the lone wanderer in my mind. the rest of them aside from having to do the missions are not the lone wanderers they have their own story and what not.

Well, seeing as Mike Wolfletter (my FO3 char) has yet to even complete the MQ, I doubt he'd be headed out west any time soon.

I know, it's set three years after the events, so I could pretend that Mike in NV had already done the stuff he has yet to do in FO3.

Of course, crossing the country in the three years...he won't look as young or as fresh as he did in FO3...

.....dude how psycho are you in real life..... anyway, my character will definatly be heading west, I never RP the main storyline.... I always have a subplot, or have the game main character have passed threw two weeks before hand... idk... I gotta think of new ideas for a new NV character..

What do you mean by psycho? Is it pshycho to have an imagination like that? Methinks you're blowing it WAY out of porportions.

If you meant him not looking fresh and young thing, I'm talking about walking across a wasteland for three years! I didn't mean young and fresh as in "I want to have him for dinner"!!

I probably will be in the sense that I am unabashedly a compulsive do-gooder in Fallout, and as such the Courier will likely take the moral high ground route just like the Lone Wanderer did. I definitely won't consider the Courier the Lone Wandered, however; I'm very happy with how I ended Broken Steel, as a member of the East Coast Brotherhood. My Lone Wanderer would have no reason to leave DC.

For New Vegas, though, if I'm required to do some shady stuff in order to get into the Brotherhood, exceptions to the "do-gooder" rule can be made. ^^

I do plan on bringing my secondary character, my "Buffy" all-melee playthrough, into NV.

And I'll definitely be hanging around here for a while, New Vegas looks full of charm and adventure, but the Capital Wasteland is just...incredible. I've definitely grown attached to this setting and its sheer "terrible beauty", if you will; even though I plan on getting New Vegas, I won't be leaving the Capital Wasteland and the Eastern Brotherhood anytime soon. Fallout 3 is just too amazing, I really hope they follow up NV with another game set in the DC/Pitt area!

If I did carry my FO3 character over to NV, it would be something like:

After the death of her father, Reina - the name of my main character - felt that remaining in the DC wastelands was too painful. Moving west she was asked to deliver a package to New Vegas, she wasn't told what it was, only to deliver it.

And that would be the start of New Vegas for my character. I could maybe do that, but I like the idea of creating a new Reina and developing a new story for her.

The only thing that's keeping me back from redoing a new Mike Wolfletter (my character) is the idea that somehow, he forgets everything he's learnt and has to start all the way back to lvl 1. No, I'll do another character (roleplaying that he/she is a distant cousin or aunt of Mike Wolfletter) and I don't care if that makes me look insane. :)

Not my main character - 101 headed off North to find Dr Li in the Commonwealth, the closest thing she had to family I guess. However, while running tech for the Outcasts, Sydney found out they were planning on heading back west to join the original BOS in a patched-up Virtibird, and hitched a ride. As she explained "I can make more caps running guns or as a courier out there than I ever will down here looting junk from frankensteins..." So yeah, I'm planning on making playing Syd (as long as I can rip the mesh/text out of FO3 somehow)

No for me it's going to be a new character, not my wasteland wanderer. But she likely will look and act amazingly similar. Hopefully they'll have included the same face preset.

No. New character every time.

Of course, I'll probably play a similar character (since I tend to prefer the same skills & make similar choices - generally good karma) but I'd never consider the characters the same.

At first instinct I was going to say no. But, well I kinda like the ideal of continuing Timmy the Smelly's story in New Vegas. Otherwise, I definitely think not.

Im pretty attached to my main Fallout 3 character, so he will most likely head out west... don't know how the journey may have changed him though...

I'm not going to deliberately create the same character or pretend he's the same guy but he'll probably just end up looking/acting like him anyway. The reason being all 3 of my current characters look like clones.

No, I don't have any interest in dragging one of my FO3 characters over to NV (and inexplicably loosing all of their abilities and equipment in the process). I may have similar characters but I won't be RPing them as continuous.

Couldn't have said it better...
