Ditto. This is also why I never settle on a name for my characters beforehand... I don't want to fall in love with a name only to find it's already been taken.

I think that can be improved upon, due to the lack of telltale teenage traits such as "xX" before and after the name. That said, I did appreciate the subtle switching out an "o" for "0" and "e" with a "3". Anyway, I'd humbly suggest: xX_C0D360N0sc0p3_Xx

Better yet would be something where you replace "s" with a "z" for even more extra console cred. So something like "xX.M@dSn1p3rSk1llz.Xx" would work well too.

lol, Things are different here. Your not limited to a single word. The simple addition of a space between 2 words changed everything we are use too. Give yourself a 1st and last name. Heck, add a middle name from what I've seen.

I could be, "Charles the Great" , "Chuck the Sneaky", "Chuck Norris" even . lol.

I'm sure a good amount of beta user already screenshot their preset of their desired character appearance already. Just going go in and click click click and done. Like most, I'm just going get the name first then worry about appearance later.

Multiple Names will have the best chance of being available. You can make up a couple of last names to make this process easier. Use a method like a memorable activity in an area or town. Or, you can use this and pick something appealing

What is the character limit? I thought somehting like 4-14 characters but I'm probably wrong, does anyone know the character limit for names?

No, I do not have any specific names I want to use, just a load of lore-correct ideas floating around in my head.

No, the chances of someone else coming up with the same first and last names for my characters is rather small.

I am going to grab one name - then create my character. The one name I am going to grab is my Character name with no last name. I recommend everyone else who plans to use a last name do the same.

The thing I ve learned from mmos and my playstyle is that I can never have 1 main... Because different play styles combined, makes my whole experience in the game, so I normally have more than 1 as main

First character will be a few click process just to see if I can get a certain name. I also want a character to gather up some starter crafting supplies to send to my main. Nothing major, just something to start with so I can begin crafting on him right away as soon as I get out of the tutorial.

My character names are always original. I try to make my names as lore-friendly as possible with first and last names to match with my character's race.

I did see some childish, idiotic character names in the betas. They were probably some 15 year old trying to be funny.
