I may grab names and not look at how the character looks... but when I'm ready to use that name I'll delete the character and make it the way I want.

Mate i will grab the names i want , i worry later about looks an stuff like that.

I always lol at those who spend 4 hours in character creation only to spend 100% of their time in 1st person.

Personally, 5 minutes in character creation for an aesthetically pleasing character - my name will not be taken.

Then rush for Blacksmith, Clothier, Wood Guy, Skooma Chef, Chef, and Enchanter names.

I think it was EQ2 and or FFXIV that allowed you to create and save a template appeareance before going live. Wish ESO had done that!

You can have spaces, hyphens and apostrophes. I'm not too worried about finding a name.

Considering that my name is lore based, made to RP with, and has a first and last name, I'm not too worried. Yeah stuff like 'Legolas' is gonna go fast, but none of that interests me, so not a concern.

Actually...I just found out that they are going to allow you to report on names that violate copy written work as well as offensive names. That may mean less silly names, but I'm still not too worried for my own.

No. And I suspect 99.9% of players will take their time getting their character(s) to look "right". Those who use original names will be in no rush.
