Are you pining for good face-pics of the various races? : V

Salivating over the GI pics is a lot of fun, but I wonder when we'll start to see some face pics of individual races, perhaps in different forms of attire. Lots of pics of humans in helmets so far, but I'd really like to see a front-view of a High Elf mage, dressed in an enchanted robe or something. I'm really interested to find out how the different elves look, the Argonians etc- should be a lot of fun! What specific races/classes are you desperate to see pictures of?

Since I only play dunmers, I'm dying to see what they look like...apparently every race has a very distinctive look now! I can't wait to see all the character models.

I'm waiting to see Argonians, Nords (beards), and Dark Elves especially. The rest I can guess more or less based on the screens.

I'm also excited to see some more armor types, as that elven looking armor seems meh and the fur armor was great.

Absolutely...the faces that we have seen so far show an incredible amount of improvement over Oblivion and judging by the focus Bethesda put into areas such as faces and animation, I'm very confident they are going to hit the nail on the hammer. I just hope the Dunmer look excellent...have to make sure my character looks kickass.

I certainly am! I was excited over the one I saw in the scan! Especially with the bearded bartender in the background.

Anyone know what race the girl in the screenie is? She looks Breton or Imperial. Possibly a Nord, but it doesn't really look like it.

I want to see more faces. I really want to know how they look, and then especially the beast races and the orcs. I wonder what kind of khajiit that will be present in Skyrim... or if there will be several khajiit variations (ohmes, cathay, suthay, or their "raht" equivalents, etc.).

I'm interested in things like the colour of the Altmers' skin and how tall they are. I hope they look domineering and badass. I hope also that they have a knowingly-superior expression on their faces! Altmers rule!

Never really looked at Altmers as "badass" ^^ they are more the arrogant magic sort aren't they? ^^

For anyone that's not already noticed there is a tiny bit of a Dunmer in the screenshots. He's the one being stabbed in the stomach by the guy in the hood. You can only see him from behind so mainly just his arms are revealed from his armor. The skin color is the same as before but I am really like the lighting on his arms, the skin looks like...well skin lol!

Can't wait to see beast races. Realistic Argonians and furry Khajiit shall be quite interesting.

I think they did this last time where they didn't reveal beast classes until later. I think it was because they were afraid of the reaction of the change in their legs.

The Altmer are the most bad-ass race in all of Tamriel! They are the most naturally powerful mages, and they are the physically tallest race, towering above the other races. They have gold-coloured skin, and a belief in their own natural physical and intellectual superiority. Altmers are cocky, tall, gold-skinned Destruction-magic slinging powerhouses, and don't you forget it!

Oh definitely. I'm a shallow controlling bastard when it comes to avatar creations and I hope Beth is generous with beards (I'll even settle for proper stubble) by gracing them to all the races. If not I'm open to making my first Nord character ever. This will be interesting.

Other than that I want the other features other than face shapes to return like piercings or the white-less eyeballs.

I think that the Altmer are the race most likely to abscond from the Empire. They believe themselves to be superior to humans, and I'd imagine that there are some old High Elf wizards in Summerset who don't take too kindly to being subjugated by the Imperials. I'm holding out hope that the next game will be about the Altmer taking names Reggie style.

I have always been indifferent to face creation, since I play entirely in first person, however, NPC faces do concern me quite a bit. Two things about the magazine worried me; we only got to see ONE face and the majority of the screenshots were in third person. This leads me to speculate that there is something to hide in front of the PC, and that there will be parts of the game where switching to third person would be necessary.

There are some pretty badass looking altmer heads in Daggerfall. The later games however, have not had any altmers I think can be considered badass.

I can't wait to see khajiit & bosmeR. I hope they gave khajiit beast legs again, and whiskers, and more fuR colors. Also I hope bosmer are able to be taken more seRiously, with the all black eyes & tattoos and such.

NoRds are my fav, but I'm confident they'll be great.
