Are you sold on Fallout 4?

Post » Fri Nov 27, 2015 5:08 am

So based on what we just saw from Bethesda's E3 showcase, where do you stand on purchasing Fallout 4? I'm definitely picking it up, but I'm leaning towards waiting for the GOTY edition.

I'm off to go get the collectors edition as soon as possible.

Yes. There is simply no way I can not try this game out after seeing that. Im not under the illusion that there isn't a possiblity that some how all of what we saw today was just exagerated and talked up features than what will be in the game. But with how much, clearly in game, we were shown I think its pretty likely that most of those promises will be met.

Yeah, absolutely. I have not looked forward to a game this much for quite some time. I did really look forward to DA:I, but not as much as F4, honestly.

I know nothing about what was shown at E3. I don't pay attention to these kinds of things. So it hasn't changed my opinion one way or the other.

DA:I was such a disappointment. The dupe glitch was the only thing that kept me playing. Until they patched it.

As a game overall I love it.

As an RPG I have mixed feelings about it. Need more info and time.

"Disappointed with what I saw." There was nothing there that I would expect from a Fallout game.

I liked what I saw, but there are still a couple things I need to see.

I need to learn whether skills have been axed ... that could cause me to delay purchase for a price drop.

Modding tools have to be released and mods have to be freely exchanged ... that whole Bethesda.net thing made me a little nervous and I have to know they aren't going to try to take over the distribution of player made content.

It looked very smooth compared to Fallout 3. Here, take a look:

This is the way I look at it at the moment. Game looks incredible, but as a RPG (and more importantly a Fallout game), I don't know how to feel about it.

Don't get me wrong the game looks amazing, as soon as I saw the voiced protagonist, the dialogue, and cutscenes something screamed "not bethesda". On top of all that the seemingly removal of skills from an RPG just doesn't settle well with me at all.

again my quoting doesn't work pretty convinced its broken anyways this is meant for LillithM. good the bright colors had me worried it would be more like a fallout spinoff like fallout 3 than a true fallout game.
