SO are you still buying Skyrim?

Post » Fri Jun 17, 2011 6:19 pm

This armour travesty is just one of many things that will stop me from buying Skyrim, among them weightless carrots, no playable Sload, totally unrealistic dragons, no Dwemer steam trains, and the inexcusable lack of armoured dinosaur mounts.

Get it together, Bethesda.

Totally, Fearless Hero.

So people are not going to get skyrim because of armor and other miniscule things? If you were a true fan you'd look through all of the games flaws at all the pros it has. All games have small flaws its just whether your a big enough fan to look past them.

I'll consider buying the game after all of the mods that fix the piece of crap that they'll be releasing are made.

then they came for the armored dinosaur mounts, and there was no one left to speak out for me...

Except Betty, my T-Rex with laser cannon head mount.

Of course I'm still waiting until the patches to clear up the worst of the initial glitches come out, the DLC nickel-and-diming is over, and the compilation (GotY or otherwise) edition comes out and then buying the entire game for around $30.

Meh, I don't really care about the armor, as long as it's not as bad as Fallout 3 I'm okay with it, having only two pieces of armor svcked.

Yeah, I'm still planning on getting it. I got it pre-ordered on Gamestop's site. Bethesda would have to work really hard at destroying the game before I cancel it. This is one series that has kept me on-board since Daggerfall released and I'm still on-board now.

Well since the new E3 interview came out about armour being merged (greaves and chest piece) I've seen people say they aren't going to buy Skyrim ( major over reaction).
I personally don't really care as i didn't bother about the look of my armour, more just it's stats. Skyrim is so vast and i think people are being majorly melodramatic over this subject.

So are you really not going to buy it or not?

Where was this stated/confirmed? When last I checked, there was a lot of controversy over a picture of Elven Armour that seemed not to have any greaves at all, but no definite statement that greaves and armour have been merged. Could you please quote the exact statement from E3 confirming this reduction/restriction?
