Area.....?

with the first Crysis it was easy for crytek to stop players leaving the game zone as it was on a remote island miles from anywhere else BUT....

in Crysis 2 New York isn't an island in the middle of nowhere so i wonder how they will stop players disappearing off into other parts of America =]the middle bit
any ideas ?

and do we know if its all of New York or just the middle bit zooms in on (in the new trailer on the homepage)?
will it include access to the surrounding water ways? (i should think so) and possibly the sewers as i read somewhere along time ago
ia it a scale map of New York?

any thoughts, hopes or ideas welcome

Well, it's pretty easy to just block off access in believable ways. Since new york is under attack and we even saw sky scraqers topping, you could have them fallen to block off roads and stuff.

Also, since the city is being evacuated you can have setup road blocks and stuff like that also blocking paths. I feel like this game will be more linear as well.

Heres a thought, the world is really flat and has an end, it sits all around the battle area, I know this because in crysis >>onslaught<< i managed to get the tank over the top of the hills, and down the other side, onto the flat plain at worlds end, i dun peeked over the edge, assa long way down dammit, lol. seriously though I cant imagine how, but im hoping we can use the vtol if there is one, to explore this new concept, will be interesting to see. :D

Mybe, but I don't think it's going to be like that, will be like GTA, You have the entire Manhattan Island, and you can go the way you want
