Are there any console commands to make the residents of Arefu non hostile?

I have returned Ian West to Arefu, set up the protection for blood packs with the family and talked to Lucy. After a long while I returned to Arefu to talk to Brailee for another quest I have and everyone is hostile. All of the residents of Arefu are alive and well but Alan appears to be MIA. He is not at his post on the bridge and he is not at home. I did not see his body anywhere but I did not search the area completely.

I have made a Google search, searched these forums and the only code I found was on the FO3Nexus Forums. This code was "set mso9 ArefuDead to 0". Will this code work with Alan gone missing or do I need to do something else like respawn Alan? I also looked on Fallout 3 wiki but I didn't see any console codes for this there.

Any help would be appreciated.
