One of my favorite guilds in Oblivion was the Arena Guild and I was wondering if we would be seeing something similar in Oblivion. The reason why I am asking is because while reading the UESPWiki pages on Skyrim and it's cities I noticed that several of the cities were once home to gladiatorial teams. I've compiled this list.


Dawnstar had the Avengers.
Falkreath had the Dark Shadows.
Markarth Side had the Frost Demons.
Rifton had the Furies.
Haafingar had the Ravagers.
Whiterun had the Devastaters.
Windhelm had the Paladins.
Winterhold had the Annihilators.

I personally don't there will be an arena-esque guild in the game or even a place to where you can go fight for money. However since Oblivion had the Arena, Fallout 3 had The Hole, and Fallout: NV had The Thorn and the Legion Arena it raises my hopes. Perhaps even as DLC? What do you think?

Thanks. I wish I would of knew that before I did all the digging. Perhaps DLC? And maybe not as a guild, but similar to the way they did it in the Fallout series? Hmm... I still have hopes.
