2. Are there potions I can get to refill my magicka? If so, what are they called?

Most of the times i use the potion of healing, my health goes up to full (but not all the time).
And the potion for magicka is call potion of restore points or something like that

How do you do spellmaking at the mage's guild? It won't give me any effects. I only know the spells you start with, light heal and fire dart.

A potion is equivalent to one charge in the crystal. (Such healing will not necessarily bring you back to full health; this depends on how many HP you are down, your level, and how many HP you have maximum.)

Potions of Restore Power. I played for years before I realized that's what those things were. It was so vague I just ignored it. The joke was on me; even sorcerers can use this potion.

Guilds in Arena work differently. You can't choose to join any, as far as I know, but they exist in some sense and you keep rank with them. I believe. I've heard that if you do business with the temple enough, for instance, you get new services there or something.

There is no limit as far as I know. However, in practice it is very difficult to get much above the mid-20s. A 25th level character is pretty much ?ber.

In the game, the only guild you will encounter is the Mages Guild, and you cannot join them, you can only visit them to buy magic items and such.

Not at all, in my experience. It merely influences the type and amount of equipment/treasure you can carry.
