I just installed Arena on my Windows 7 computer. It seems to be running flawlessly, or at lest I thought so at first. But I've encountered what I can only assume is some sort of maddening glitch.

Here is an example of what it does.

Me: Where is the nearest inn?
NPC: Its Very near, let me see your map.
Generic NPC marks location on map

The problem is the NPC do not mark locations on my map. It still remains as blank as ever. This makes it almost impossible to find the location of anything in towns and I have to stumble around opening doors at random. Am I just doing something wrong? Is their a button that will make the map locations appear? Or is this a known glitch?
Sorry if this is an dumb question. I'm still a novice when it comes to playing DOS games.
