I heard some streamer talking about PvP and that they might insert or create some sort of Arena PvP System.

I personally felt, as a competative player, that i was longing for those small close encounters where could go head to head versus another group to see who was the best fighter etc.

There were a lot of times where you had 100 players in one team, on one side of the bridge and 100 on the other side in enemy team. It's fun for a while, but its not that challanging, I could literally go afk in stealth on my side.. go eat, take a shower, watch a movie... and the fight would usually be where i left it.

I lacked that intense battle between a smaller group where you battle to kill the enemy and survive the fight. No other goals then that, simply to be the better fighter.

I'm talking from a completely 100% competative view.

I fully respect others opinions of what they think is fun, or not. We all play for different reasons.

I'm not against them adding an arena, but it's something I would avoid like the plague.

Yes I would like there to be like 8v8 or 12v12 or the smaller groups but there should be ZERO incentive to do them as in ZERO reward for doing an arena. Should be purely for fun.

As soon as you add an incentive to do arenas you bring about a never ending homerun derby with nerf bats.

nothing stopping you from taking 4 people and finding 4 other people to fight against in cyrodiil.

Only if it is NOTHING like WoW's arena and more like Oblivion's, or a real tournament. It should work in the following way:

- Non-instanced: 1 arena per region, 1 large arena (colosseum) per faction, and you have to sign up and get a slot (date/time) for your fight or event.

- people can watch from the stands, make bets on fights,

- it costs in-game money to enter, you lose that money if you lose or don't show up

- There are different types of events, like 2 teams, 4 teams, PvE events, races, etc.

- There is NO reward beyond money for winning (no XP)

- While you can enter to fight at any time, there are only leaderboards for annual or seasonal laddered tournaments (and you must first qualify for those)

- Maybe an achievement for being the grand champion of a seasonal tournament, but that's it, no e-sport BS

Well , i dont plan on using this feature , but i dont mind if it is in place.

Just dont add unique gear and so on to it , i dont guess most would care.

They could add tons of unique gear and it wouldn't bother me. I'd know that if i wanted the gear, i'd have to run the hoops for it. Simple.

Still need to clarify if you are advocating free world Arenas or Arenas in the already existing framework setup in Cyrodiil.

Arenas only lead to 1vs1 balancing, which should never happen.

I don't understand why people automatically assume that Cyrodiil will only be zerg on zerg.

Doesn't anyone have ANY imagination or think outside the box? Or you just wanting to be hand held and pointed to the small group stuff because you are afraid of the big bad world?

Cyrodiil has so much more to offer than zerg on zerg but that is the only thing people focus on when talking about it. What about the 1v1, 1v2, 2v1, 2v2, 3v3, 3v5, 4v4, 8v8, 5v7, and so on. It is like saying WoW is only for end game raiding or SWTOR is only about lightsabers, but Cyrodiil has so much more to offer why do people just over look that?

Since you are changing the already messed up poll, you should also remove your editorial on the "yes" and "maybe" choices, as they are your opinion not shared by all.

I'm asking if you think this feature should be in this game.. wether you use it or not.

As well as stating my own opinion about the game, from my perspective.

I actually took it now that it is possessed of reasonable choices.

3) If its in Cyrodiil
