Arena slow and laggy?

I am playing on DOSBox. I can run New Vegas and Oblivion just fine, but this game is lagtastic to the extreme. Is there a reason for this? It's so painfully.....SLOW!!!!!

I forget but its like ctrl f or something to make it go fast Ill go take a look

do I hold it or something? I've tried pressing ctrl f12, holding it and spamming it multiple times, nothing is happening
